North Restaurant

Came here on a Wednesday night (feb 28) for a girlfriends bday dinner. The place was not busy. We had a waiter who kept forgetting to bring our order. We ordered drinks. He brought them one at a time. Unfortunately the Restaurant ran out of pomegranate to make martini with, when asked for gin and tonic we were told they ran out of that too. Bread was served first, it was nice and hot and we ended up stuffing ourselves with it while waiting for the food to arrive. The waiter seemed very unorganized, forgetting things - like forks, napkins, lemon wedges, barberries, we Ordered grilled eggplant, hummus, olives with walnuts for appetizers. Personally I only liked the hummus. Olives were too salty, eggplant too bland. Hummus was very good. For main we ordered lamb chops and an order of lamb chop/chicken combination. The waiter mixed up the order, forgot one order of lamb chops and finally when he brought them he forgot the barberries on the side. Another friend ordered stew but I didn’t like the look of it so I didn’t even try it. Comments from my friends were not positive on the taste of the stew ... I was not impressed with the taste of the chicken nor the lamb chops. Have had much better Persian food before. Somewhere along the evening the music got ridiculously loud! Very annoying. The waiter was a nice person but he was way too confused and the service was quite disappointing. Will not come back.

I would not recommend this place if you want to try Persian food! The kebabs are nasty, tasteless and for the money you pay you might as well pick up foods from Persian supermarkets much better quality and more Quantity. I ordered for pick up on Monday afternoon and I think I got all the left over with the worst presentation from weekend. The rice was dry and instead of saffron food colouring was used.

Horrible service! Such a greedy owner! At some point of time it was a good restaurant. Avoid if you can. You still can find decent places where you can find good quality persian food in town.

Really good charcoal grilled Iranian meat dishes. Decently priced. The appetizers like the stuffed eggplant are to die for. This time they were out of sirloin skewers. Disappointing.

I honestly don't understand why people are writing negative reviews here. The service and food is amazing. A must try for anyone.
