Best place for Ukrainians to feel like you at home. All looks very similar. Very kindly stuff. And all products the same as at home. Best prices for all type of food you like and looking for in Canada. Definitely recommended. Also big respect to owner that provides a jobs for newcomers from Ukraine. Been here a few times. Best deli area, especially for charcuterie meats like salami and kolbassa. Lots of selection for meats and cheeses and overall good prices. Their produce is also well-priced and fresh. You can also find Polish delicacies like candies. I went on the day before Christmas Eve and it’s the busiest I’ve seen it before. Usually that’s not the norm. They’re very good with monitoring flow of people inside and you might have to wait a short while outside before you can get into the store. Masks on is well enforced as well.

Always enjoy our shopping here. Plentiful and fresh... produce, hot ready to eat food, bakery - bread and sweets, sausage and smoked meat counter, fresh meat and poultry section, extensive choices throughout the general dry goods grocery area. The staff are all very kind, friendly, helpful and readily available when need assistance. When is busy the store as well as the car parking can get crowded - patience and kindness all 'round every time we encounter the visit of such. Only bit more time required. Keep up the fabulous work, Starsky's! We are fortunate and grateful.

Prices are high in some instances. I understand that there's a cost of shipping international products, but then there comes a point at which prices are simply unreasonable. Also, they decided to remove Russian products from their store, or rename products in order to remove the reference of Russia from it. That was when I decided that they cared more about appearing virtuous, than simply running a business that offers its products to the widest range of customers.

Clean, and well organized store. Fresh selection of vegetables. Wheelchair friendly access. Lots of parking. Staff is helpful. I can always find what I'm looking for.

5 years later. I still like this store but I had to take two stars off my review. I found sanctioned Russian products on the shelves which is a direct violation of our government's 'Special Economic Measures Russia Regulations'. First example is a crispbread manufactured in russian federation, and second - buckwheat with the famous russian art image on the front; this product is of unspecified origin imported from unknown place by Toronto company. Please, do the right thing and remove russian products from the shelves! Good quality European food, mostly eastern European. Inexpensive. Best choice for fresh, locally produced deli which you will not find in big chain superstores.

A small grocer with great selection sith more worldly flavors and variety than you may be used to at a standard chain. Great deli section and cheeses!

This is a heads up for Starsky customers do not buy the the Gaylea spreadable butter in the plastic container without opening it ..pull back the foil as the butter is blue moulded and a health risk. I purchased a butter and when I opened it in my home I was disgusted to see the butter was blue. I took it back and was appalled when the assistant manager she said..older woman wiyh grey hair at the front register took me to the dairy section to give me an other butter..when I asked if I could open it to see it was 9kay it was BLUE.,the whole butter. Possibly the whole dairy section is affected. I found one that wasn't blue as they was

Gorgeous store with a huge selection of European fresh foods and dry foods and and other things. Also their prices are very good. I’m so happy I found this store!
