Staples Moncton

Dropped off an Amazon package for return at this Staples location and Amazon notified me saying they never received the returned item from Staples. 1 star for being unreliable.

Always love going to this store. It has everything I'd ever need for my artistic hobbies. Simply looking through the many varieties of pens, pencils and markers can keep me captivated for an hour easily I know, I'm weird.nThis day my lovely wife Pat had to go into Staples for various tasks. Asked to join her I jumped at the chance to simply walk around inside their building but actually having a purpose other than window shopping.nFirst order of business was to drop off a couple Purolator envelopes which were sent to our address but to a previous owners name. Pat called ahead and they let her know she could drop them off there since they have regular business with Purolator. It was either that or have Purolator drop by our place to pick the packages up we felt it would be a huge inconvenience for them.nThe attendant had no issue taking the packages from Pat and was quite gracious about it.nWalking, and looking past various aisles Pat noticed a group of ground coffee items had no idea they even carried these items. Having run out of coffee grounds, it was very convenient picking out a selection.nAfter paying for our purchase at the welcoming front cashiers till we went over to the order pickup area to retrieve the old movie reels Pat had dropped off some time ago. Staples was able to have the videos on the ancient reels converted onto a modern USB chip which turned out perfect for modern watching and sharing via internet media.nI also noticed their upcoming Christmas item selections strategically placed upon first entering the store. Nice choice of festive items.nParting this store I noticed the many chairs being posed upon the far wall from ceiling to floor. Wonderful way to advertise their selection while encouraging customers to walk back and view closer.

I came in to buy a case of paper and the merchandising was a complete mess. Signs were not on the proper place, barcodes on the signs didn’t match any product, signage was falling down and blocking the bay. To top it off, there wasn’t a single employee around to offer any assistance. Small wonder that on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, this store was nearly empty.

The staff in self serve is 5 starbecause you don't need staff to operate. The printing section is zero star because they really hate their job. Wait too long to get serve, staff only work at backroom instead of printing section. Not going to type too much on comment because I don't really want to them to improve.

Terrible service. In the last month they have done 3 of my print jobs with errors. One of the jobs had only half the file printed. There is no attention to detail at the print department at this location
