Such a lackadaisical attitude is just upsetting. I recently visited Staples on Gottingen Street to have my spiral binding done. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the unhelpful attitude of the staff. Despite there being almost 1.5 hours until closing and only one partial binding needed, the employee I encountered was dismissive and unwilling to assist. Despite my polite inquiries, they simply stated it couldn't be done that day. This lack of customer service is unacceptable. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future and would not recommend this location.
The management at this store is terrible. I ordered a carry-on that was scheduled to arrive a few days before my trip. I got a notification that my suitcase had arrived. When I went to pick it up the manager said that it did not arrive. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I was never charged for it. I told him that according to my bank statement I had been charged. I was told that they can't do a refund and I would have to contact the Staples online customer branch. I asked the manager how the online customer service branch would know it didn't get delivered , when according to the package tracker it says delivered and the manager basically said it wasn't their problem. I then called the online customer line, the worker there said it had arrived at the store. When I explained what happened, he said he would need to call the store and confirm with the manager that my suitcase had not been delivered and that he would call me back within 30-45 minutes. I never received a call. I received another automated email again this morning reminding me to pick up my suitcase. I called the online customer service line again to once again ask for my refund. When the customer service agent called the store this time to confirm that the suitcase had not been delivered, the person she talked to said the suitcase had been delivered yesterday. Now I have to go back to the store to receive my refund , since I bought a suitcase somehwhere's else in the meantime and no longer need it. As well, earlier this week I needed to print a couple of pages. I saved my document as both a word doc and a PDF on USB from staples. I tried to print the document from 3 different self serve printers as either a PDF or a word doc. When I told one of the copy and print associates that their printers were not working, they printed it for me on their print and charged me a $3 service fee, even though I only had $2 worth of documents to print and the problem was with their self-serve printers.
This review is more of a shout-out to Jatin at the Print Center on Gottingen for his phenomenal customer service! He helped me combine all my files into multiple PDFs based on what I needed for each section, and when I told him I was in a bit of a time crunch, he put in the extra effort to get everything ready for me that same day!!! Give this man a raise! Thanks so much for your help, Jatin!
Decided to print business cards through staples, as I never had an issue before with this service. I sent in my design at the beginning of December, they were apparently completed a few days later, but I didn’t get the pick up email until the end of December. I went to the store to pick up my cards and they apparently got lost in transit? Just from Dartmouth? I was refunded and they said my cards would be available within a few hours- I came back and they were not done. I waited over a month for production, plus over an hour in-store for all of this shenanigans. The employees were as helpful as they could be, but something on the back end is messed up here and it’s infuriating while trying to run my own business.
Service took well over 30 minutes with no coordination. Didn’t have the product in the end and walked out after an hour with nothing. Very poor service
