St-Viateur Bagel & Café Monkland

The bagels are really good. "The kit" is awesome value. The special is also really cool if you want to sample the bagels inany different ways. I would bring tourists here.

Great breakfasts. Staff is efficient. Sometimes feel like the staff could use a nap! Mornings are tough.

Very good place for a causal dining experience. The breakfast menu is simple but good. The restaurant team is quite plesant and service is quick. When picking up bagels the team could use a refresher in customer service at some points but it is not always the case.

I've been to Montreal twice now and even though there's so many food places to try, I've come here for breakfast on both trips because it's so good. This is one of my all-time favourite places to eat. The staff has always been very friendly and the service was quick. It can be pretty busy so there might be a small wait, but it's very worth it. The portions are huge so you will definitely be very full when you leave. The second time I went, I even bought a dozen bagels home with me for my family to try. They loved them! I'll try to come back here whenever I visit Montreal.

Their bagels are fantastic. I love to come for a brunch. Their plates are tasty and have generous portions. Two negative things tho. 1) a little bit noisy when you eat inside. They keep the tv sound on even if you can hear anything. It just add a inconvenient background noise. 2) usually, there is a line-up during the weekend (a clue of the quality of the place I guess). I strongly recommend
