A cafeteria style breakfast place with random seats with no guaranteed seating. The lineups on the weekends are long but move quickly.nnThe food was great, I had the halloum salad sandwich and it was excellent, but I don't think I'll go back unless maybe in a weekday.
One of my favorite cafes in montreal! The avocado toast is a must - I especially appreciate the touch of pumpkin seeds! I’ve visited this cafe a few times and everything is always on point. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and the scones are perfectly crisp and sweet! The matcha and cappuccinos are so good. The bone broth is also perfect during winter - the fresh ginger and turmeric are so flavorful. The cafe is always packed but the line always moves relatively quickly and the service is super friendly!
I liked this brunch place but not everything was perfect. The service, is not really present, you need to put your plates away at the end of your meal, you need to wait at the counter to get your drinks, they don’t bring it to you. We only tried the famous pancakes. They are very nice and fluffy but I have to say that ours were nearly undercooked inside and also very very filling, not very light. I would not take this for only one person. We only ate half our plate each.
Nice café with good vibes. The food is delicious, with a good variety of small bites and meals. Staff is knowledgeable so don't hesitate to ask for help when selecting which coffee beans to buy.
Been wanting to go here forever, and it did not disappoint!nnJust an FYI before going, it is busy all days of the week at all times so it may be difficult finding seating!nnI got the classic pancakes with an addition of strawberries with ham on the side and I loved it! It was extremely filling though, so it was difficult to finish all of it. My lemonade was super good but very sour!nnMy friend got the avocado toast which she really liked, but she said there was an odd combination of tastes when it came to the spicy spices and the sweetness of the avocado. She also did not know the egg would be cold. Her chai latte was very good!nnWould recommend!
