The BEST breakfast sandwich in Montreal! This is a spot where I make sure I always bring visiting friends to! Pretty affordable prices too with plenty of options. My favourites are the pancakes SO fluffy & massive portion, breakfast sandwich, tomato soup & grilled cheese, halloumi toast and avocado toast. Coffee is decent and i love that they have freshly squeezed orange juice. There can be a line and the cafe does get pretty busy, making it difficult to find seats sometimes, but it is so worth the wait. I recommend going during the summertime, as there’s more seating in the backyard!
Lovely cafe, but very busy. We arrived around 9am on a Sunday thinking it’d be fairly quiet but had to queue for 15-20 mins to order. Other than that, it was all very tasty. Delicious coffee & matcha, and amazing pancakes. The atmosphere was really nice too, and staff were very friendly too!
A cafeteria style breakfast place with random seats with no guaranteed seating. The lineups on the weekends are long but move quickly.nnThe food was great, I had the halloum salad sandwich and it was excellent, but I don't think I'll go back unless maybe in a weekday.
One of my favorite cafes in montreal! The avocado toast is a must - I especially appreciate the touch of pumpkin seeds! I’ve visited this cafe a few times and everything is always on point. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and the scones are perfectly crisp and sweet! The matcha and cappuccinos are so good. The bone broth is also perfect during winter - the fresh ginger and turmeric are so flavorful. The cafe is always packed but the line always moves relatively quickly and the service is super friendly!
The seating setup is not good. Other than the bar stools the furniture is kindda hipster as another reviewer said here.nThe hot chocolate was fine. Not hot or sweet enough.nThe chocolate chip cookie was dry and crumbly.nI went there for their much hyped pan cakes. Somewhat disappointed. Other than the bottom most pancake, the rest were dry. They need syrup and butter on each pancake. Gotta serve them in a way they are enjoyable to eat and not just pretty to look at.
