Café Shaughnessy

Great comfy space to work and relax. Excellent music selections to accompany your work mood or a good chat with an old friend. Perfect for a date too :)

The place has a nice vibe, nice clientele, pretty even, nice staff, nice music, it is small and cozy, has the normal seating type geared towards workimg students and such, but with a couple of comfortable chairs which is great for readers like me. The coffee and snacks were ok, it's a matter of taste. The missing star ia for the coffee cup size, too small. Still would go there again from time to time because the atmosphere is nice.

Really cool small cafe with a mid century aesthetic! The coffee is a bit pricey but it's pretty good. The service here is friendly and quick. It's often full of students so I would recommend coming earlier in the day if you want a seat.

I enjoy and also purchase the Fernwood coffee beans from here. In summer, they have legitimate good cold brew. My dad loved the diner that used to be in this place before it became a little cafe and was sad at the change, but I like it better this way ;)

Such a cute spot! It’s my new fave place to study because the music isn’t too loud (and is great!), the coffee is delicious, and the staff do nice things like ask oddly spaced people working to move so friends can sit together. :)
