Cool building, good atmosphere. Tasty, but pretty pricey for what you get. We had a table of 8? and waited a long time to be served 45+ minutes?. Could see the cooks through the window loosing their minds, felt bad for them. Server said they had a big table before us, which is understandable to a certain extent, but management should have planned better. People who arrived after us, ate and left before we even got our food. Nothing offered complimentary for our wait... Just kind of expected more at such high prices.

Went to the restaurant for my birthday.  The server was so NICE and joyful. The singer sang me a happy birthday song, and wished me one several times throughout the night, he even remembered my name lol. The food was awesome, it is my favorite place to go when I'm lonely and have some cash, i get my fave gate burger, sit and listen to the live music. I recommend this place 1000%nHumans are wonderful

We’ve stayed here 3 times now and absolutely love it. Central location, so walking distance to many local restaurants and bars, as well as shopping. Staff was quick to resolve a small issue, and gave us a free room upgrade for our anniversary as well as a gift. Fantastic place, and we can’t wait to go back!

The vibe of the place is absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and perfect for a night out. It’s great to find a spot that stays open late for those nightcaps!nnOne of the highlights of the evening was the live music from Chris. He is an outstanding musician who truly knows how to engage the crowd. No matter the request, Chris knocked it out of the park every single time! His energy and talent added so much to the atmosphere, making it a memorable night for everyone.nnThe servers deserve a shoutout as well. They were not only efficient but also incredibly friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the night.nnIf you’re looking for a place with great music, a lively atmosphere, and top-notch service, St. James’ Gate is definitely the spot to be. I’ll be back for sure!

Outside of having a extremely contagious son, we had a very close experience.nnMy son went with the boring chicken strips. My wife and daughter both had the chicken wings, my daughter a particularly had the spicy ones and said that they were fantastic.nnI myself went with the bison burger and although I've had a bison burger before, this was probably the best bison burger I've had but it was also one of the best hamburgers I've ever hadnnThe waiter and sadly I can't remember his name was absolutely fantastic.
