We were here for my birthday dinner and had a good time. It was packed when we got there but we were still seated 10 minutes before our reservation time. The watermelon soda was so well made. Brucheta and spinach fonduta was delicious. The portion sizes were bigger than we expected so we got our Primavera pizza to go as we were completely full with just the appetizers.nThe cozy ambiance was so comforting.nOur server was so nice.nThe Focaccia bread at the start of the meal was great.
We were lucky to get a seat on Saturday night. The interior is beautifully decorated and the place was packed with customers. The server was polite, and the food was excellent—especially the bread served with olive oil. We also loved the chicken bites paired with the two sauces. There were plenty of cheesecake options, and we grabbed one on our way out; it was delicious and excellent. We definitely hope to come again!
Grace served us tonight and it was a delightful experience. The food was great, service impeccable and she suggested gluten free options for my friend. The drinks she suggested were mocktails and they were above and beyond delicious. The cheese cake recommendation was heavenly!. Finally a 5-star restaurant in NB!. WAY BETTER THAN THE KEG IN TOWN!!. We will be back next month when we roll into town again. Worth the drive and we cannot recommend her as your server or Gustos enough. Thank you for a delightful evening!
Gusto's is a must when I am stopping in the Moncton area! The atmosphere and esthetics are a nice warm vibe. Even though it looks fancy inside, you can still dress casual and go. You tend to see fancier attire towards late evening. You can see the cooks in the kitchen which can be fun to watch.The prices are quite fair for the quality of food. Personally I put them at the price point of Boston pizza, but with much higher quality and uniqueness to many dishes. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly every time I go. The people at the door organizing seating are much less friendly, but not to the point of rudeness. You can and should make reservations for this place as it gets quite busy! To the point where they tend to overlook reservations seating two people, to take more people at a table because of course more money/spacing. That is the only reason I take a single point from the breakdown rating. They have taken large tables just showing up without reservation over me and another who were reserved more than once this happened. Other than that small bother, the place is amazing and preffered over so many.
We've been going to Gustos for years now, its our favorite restaurant and we are never disappointed! The food is delicious and atmosphere is perfect! Last night we were seated downstairs and our waitress said it was her first night doing bar and tables and she was fantastic, always checking in, refilling water, friendly, chatting with guests- great night and great food for a birthday meal! :
