Solid tex mex establishment. Not what I would define as authentic Mexican, but very decent fair. Unlike some reviews found prices very reasonable for the quality and food you receive. Nice patio and staff super attentive and friendly!
Not into spicy food but my wife, Pat, has wanted to go here for some time. Was going to go for chili but not into hot nor veggie chili only options I saw. So happy when I saw chicken Ceasar salad on menu. Pat went with the shrimp Fajitas. Premeal we were given a hearty plate of nacho chips with sauce to share. Pat enjoyed their sauce mix while I steered clear. She even stated, "my mouth is burning". Orange juice couldn't come to soon for her. I totally enjoyed my meal. Only suggestion, use hickory sticks instead of dried bread croutons try it. Pat liked her meal but was disappointed that the cast frying pan didn't come out sizzling hot like she's used to seeing/hearing. Her food was luke warm. Too few cheese with an abundance of cabbage. I subtract no points for her meal results since I'm reviewing what I received. Wr both enjoyed sitting outside on their front balcony under the protection of their umbrella from the burning sun. Expect typical street noises when sitting street side. Nice bricked artwork just across the street from this place. Using their bathroom I could not but help admiring the many paintings adorning their walls as i passed through their dining area. Even the bathroom had an artistic quality to it. Looking at a particular set of tiles i thought it funny what a couple well placed dots can do. I asked if I could take pictures of their walls and was told, "no problem". I did not disturb any quests as my attached pictures testify. Being treated to tic-tacs after meal was nice touch.
Visited today for the first time and enjoyed it. I had the classic cheeseburger which was pretty good, fries were awesome. Loved the seasoning they use on them. My girlfriend had the honey garlic chicken nachos which were also really good. She had a classic margarita to drink and was very pleased with it. Staff was very friendly and the location is very nice. Decor and lighting is fantastic. Will definitely be returning.
Stopped in for a late lunch. Sat in one of the outside booths with an umbrella.. food was great. Had the coronna on tap..cant go wrong with that. Good service . Very cleanRecommended dishesChicken Nachos, Free Chips and Salsa
I dig it! Had the chimichangas with LOADED fries on the side. Talk about bursts of flavor! Only downside was getting attacked by wasps since we were eating outside lol.
Great staff, super friendly right out the gate, we were seated and served promptly by our server. The food portions were great, my friend had one of the burrito bowls which was massive, I had the single order of chicken fajitas. It seemed like the veggies were a little undercooked, the onions felt almost a little raw, and while there was a great portion of that it seemed like the meat was lacking given it was 8oz. Instead of some nicely grilled chicken breast it seemed a little more on the microwaved side of things, and the chicken chunks were more like something you'd get at Subway sandwiches. Not the best, but not inedible. The avocado bites were different, and yummy, good portion of those for the cost. Was it the best Mexican food I've had? of course not. But the staff were friendly, prompt and efficient and I have to shout them out for that.
Good food, good service. Points lost: —7 layer dip was tasty but nacho chips were far too fragile to pick it up. —Avocado salad had too much dressing which was also too acidic. Subjective? Yes! But this is my review.—Chairs were uncomfortable. Unless I sat like a eunuch, the sides dug into my thighs. Points gained: +varied menu +family friendly including kids’ menu and colouring stuff. No points lost but good to know: the patio experience is dragged down by tuner cars and their love of noise pollution.
Decent food, huge portions. It is fairly expensive for the quality of the food.Food: 3/5
Very disappointed! I ordered to take out and when I opened only after 15 minutes of my call, I got whats in the picture. The avocado on the top of the enchiladas was totally rotten….
Went here for supper last night. It is certainly a busy spot. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The chips and salsa were great chips were heated. We both ordered 1/4 pound chicken fajitas. The sides/toppings platters were pretty big. The rice and bean scoops were a little strange but tasted ok. My wife got the loaded fries instead of the beans and rice - great choice. A bit extra but worth it. When the fajita platters came out, they were steaming away - great start. There is a lot of stuff on them for sure 4-5 shells worth. The only thing I thought a bit off was the vegetables on the hot platters had literally no seasoning on them - literally raw onions, etc tossed onto the platters and then steamed to cook as they went to the table. Mind you it was hot enough to char some them on the bottom, but still no flavour. Made the meal a bit of a let down but still was able to liven it up with hot sauce. The holder for the tortilla shells was also very good - enough shells and kept them warm for the meal. My wife's Margherita was delicious . Thanks.
