This place is a good people watching spot; there are a lot of things that happen at this library; drama etc. Its pretty action packed, the most entertainment you will find happening happens here. Doctor Hutch branch is better I find for "families," or Thorold library is great to. They offer cool programs for the children here, but I'd range this place for singles or teens.

Great staff and facility, i would loved if they had private study rooms, because some people come ther are very loud and the are disturbing the readers big time!! also, most of the times i see some homeless people smoking or in few occasions drinking beer at the front gate! thats not a good image of a central library for the city reputation. i would like the management would take some serious action by looking to solve those issues..

A good library, lots of parking spaces and if you come on the city bus it is right by the terminal, and if you are on bike there are lots of slot to tie it to. Overall their system is super easy to use and they have free WiFi.
