Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely property and excellent facilities. Katherine administrationgoes above and beyond to assist tenants/owners and visitors alike.
Great place want to thank new management of park for doing such a great job.moving the garbage was great idea. Hearing all good comments and I give you great comments. Doing well.
The lake near the park entrance is like a swamp and has been for the past 5 years. They did put a fountain in but it's been turned off these past 2 years. It really spoils the resort and the main lake is not too good either. The shop could do with more items for sale. The fees are expensive for what you get . The park has suffered from bad management for at least the last 6 years that I know of although has recently changed the management so things should hopefully change for the better.
Not where it’s located the park is located down a bit more. Super fun tho I miss it sold the trailer a long time ago good for kids and family a lot of kids to hang with and really fun to fish and play 2 pools one for the adult and one for kids and wifi at the front. Basketball and hockey nets. 3 different lakes/water to fish in
Park ripped up our yard two weeks after we purchased a trailer there to fix a septic tank issue and never did anything to fix it. We now have an above ground Sweet line running in front of our trailer. Management seemed nice and kept telling us they were working on a solution for us but we never saw anything. Other parks had more amenities open during Covid than this park did. They pick and choose who they will say yes to and then not even listen to others. They tell you one thing than do another. They don't take care of the ponds, limiting guests to only one pond to use. Many of the guests are nice though.
First Review of this park, we decided to stay there..if things change I will review again in a year We will be seasonal campers, so I cannot speak to the over night sites, but there are a few. The operators opened up on a weekend to allow us to visit the park, they were super friendly This place is similar to many other parks, but the big difference is they DO NOT charge per car, or per visitor. There is no fee to move into the park, and they are actively spending money to improve the park. Definitely worth a visit!
Could use more showers and better water pressure in them. There is alot to do there. It is a clean park. You need more fountains going in the ponds to clear up the water.
Park seemed ok for the first year ... By the end of the second year we couldn't wait to get out. Too many rules for some people and not enough for others. Management is the worst I've ever encountered. The website is full of lies. Neither of the 2 pools are salt water, mini putt is run down ... Turn around is very high ... Some new campers at the beginning of the season. More leaving at the end of the season ... Will NEVER go back there
Spring Valley is a great park. Highly maintained. Professional staff, that will go out of their way for their customers. Seasonal section offers many types of sites, most have good privacy. The overnight sites are just big enough to offer a little breathing space between trailers although you would not want to have them closer together than they are, especially the pull through sites. Nice ponds to look at. Very good park and if you get a chance to go there you should.
The park itself is good, nice pools and mini golf, great woodland surrounding the park and the people who stay on the seasonal sites are great. However the "swamp" pond at the front is disgusting, oxygen deprived and absolutely stinks, to the point that you cannot open your trailer windows and the amount of mosquitoes that come off it is intense! Also the rec hall is just an almost empty building, needs money spending on it. I would rate much higher if they just cleaned the swampy stinky mess.
