We went on a Saturday around noon but on a day where it was overcast versus sunny, though still warm. We were there a few hours and it was gorgeous and not busy at all.

Love coming here with friends. Weekends are really busy in the summer though, so try to go during the week if you can.

I used to cliff dive here as a young man back in the 70"s and 80's. Buitiful quarry, has an awesome echo when dozens jump together.

It was the very first time coming to the Elora Quarry with the family. It was very busy but we made the best of it and had a small picnic away from the crowd. We then went to the beach area which became very crowded however the kids had a blast just running around and enjoying the outdoors. We brought small outdoor activities that kept them busy. However I believe their should be better sanitation of the washrooms but, overall we made the best of it. You need to arrive early because the wait can be long. When you have clear skies and a hot sun it is going to be a good time with the group that you are with.

Elora Quarry Conversation Area is a great place to be with a family and or with friends. The sand is very clean. If you walk up a trail there are very nice views and hills. There are many people sun bathing. Going to the water there is a couple of rocks that may hurt if you don't have any shoes on. But, the water is very clean, but the farther you get the more algae there is and there is a long branch so be careful for that. The only throwback is the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very smelly and and dirty. I would recommend bringing a air freshener spray to help a little bit and bring floaties for the water it seems very popular and would help you relax. Lastly there are very good cafes and ice cream shops near.
