Sport Chek Southpark Centre

They are definitely short-staffed, and the staff is not well-trained. We went over the weekend and had to wait without anyone helping us. Finally, a staff member came, and I asked for a size 9 shoe, which the system showed as in stock, but they couldn’t find it. Then I requested a kids’ size 6, and after a while, they brought out pairs in sizes 5 and 6—neither of which matched the correct size 6. We eventually left the store and went to the Tamarack Sports Chek branch. The staff there was very helpful, and I found both shoe sizes quickly and easily.

Watched an employee, the owner of the green car, in uniform with his name tag on pull a flyer out from under his windshield wiper and literally just throw it on the ground. I get that someone put an unwanted flyer under your wiper but to just throw it on the ground shows zero regard for the community.

It is so unfortunate when a business takes it customers for granted. The service at sports chek is always low level and thats one of the reasons I avoid it. However, they took bad service to an all new level, recently I bought a pair of shoes from them which they mailed to me. Twice, they shipped me the wrong size. Each time, I had to drive back to the store to return the same shoe. Finally, I just gave up! Lots of time and gas wasted during the holiday season. The level of incompetency is so high in this company that they can't carry out and deliver a simple straightforward order. They should respect the time and money of their customers and should not take us for granted. It's definitely a lesson learned for the future to stay away from this store. Regards!

Had the most incredible service from Cayden and the team at Sport Check south common. He was thorough, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to get my family set up with everything we needed for ski and snowboarding. The crew at the shop for ski/board install were also so amazing, efficient and knowledgeable! Honestly 10/10. It’s very hard to find good service and especially at a big box store but we were lucky to get it! We were even helped out to our car because we bought so much! If you go look for Cayden! You’ll be happy you did.

We were at South Common Sportcheck Sunday at 12:40 pm the person helping us on the cashier is Darneet Kaur skinny long hair , yawning and sleepy head. She scan the shoes I wanted to buy , it shows up they are $74 but I told her they were only 66.49 and she kept insisting that's what showed up on her screen. And I ask her , are you able to ask someone or go on the headset so they can check the price. Unfortunaelly she said no , and by the way she response she wants me to check it myself. I ask my husband to check it for me and took a photo on the price. Apparently we are right as they were on sale.She look tired and sleepy or shoud I say still tipsy. Lack of customer service she doesn't like what she is doing , she's not suppose to be behind the counter. But the guy who helped her or her supervisor was very nice
