Sport Chek Southpark Centre

Great staff! Great selection of sports name brand clothes and shoes. However selection of sports equipment for anything other than hockey is poor.

Huge store with all things athletic. They have lots of shops with shops including North Face, New Balance, Nike, Under Armour and Burton. There is something for everyone in the family. Make sure to try anything on with the family change rooms in the middle of the store. The parking lot is busy so watch out for cars!

Megan, the manager at this location does not understand the fundamentals of customer service. She was very unsympathetic of my situation and would not honour the company's price match policy and actively went out of her way to give me a hard time, not letting me buy what I came for at fair market price. As many other one star reviews state: do not waste your time and money here. Go somewhere else.

Large, spacious, modernized Sport Chek! Unfortunately I have experienced poor customer service there multiple times, consistent enough to affect their rating. Waited 10+ mins at the equipment service desk today before even getting acknowledged by a single staff member. Also wish you could pay for your equipment services at their desk instead of lining up at the cash out again. Looking past this though, definitely a great place to see or try the merchandise (bikes, shoe wall, sporting equipment, etc...) first before making a decision. Great layout and apparel organized by brands and gender.

I was looking for Nike hood/ski mask last night and it tooks 3 representatives before I can find someone who really can do something about it. Poor customer service despites having huge store in South. I was able to confirm that there were 4 more stocks in the store, unfortunately none of them can find it for me. I end up buying through online and pick up at WEM, much more friendly and well-known staff. It was a huge disappointment as my hubby need it urgently and the store couldn't provide it at its best.
