Sport Chek Southpark Centre

There are some awesome staff there who are friendly and helpful. Still, the vast majority don't appear to want to be there and either look miserable or are busy conversing with another staff member and you have to interrupt them. It's also weird that the girls working the till counter will stand there and not say anything. Are you open? Are you still ringing people up? Did someone die?? Also, when did it become a thing that if I bring a reusable bag I need to bag my own purchases? Honestly, it makes more sense to just have a self checkout.

Been to all the Sportcheks around Edmonton and this is 100% the best one. Brandon and Angela are super knowledgeable regardless of product and they made my shopping experience really easy and convenient. I make sure to go out of my way to go to this specific Sportchek for all of my purchases, Keep up the good work!

The cashier slammed my gym bag on the countertop and yanked open the pockets to locate a tag. They were extremely aggressive with the product that I was purchasing. I get that people have a bad day, but it is unprofessional to be so aggressive and he needs to learn to control his anger instead of taking it out on objects that the customer is purchasing. Not only this, but his behaviour could have damaged the bag. I hope that this gets dealt with because it honestly left me with bad vibes and is a negative reminder every time I look at my gym bag.

Nice big store, very organized! I was able to find what I came in for and also got them on sale which was a wonderful plus!nnThere was a long line up to pay but with three cashiers it went quickly and smoothly.nnDefinitely enjoyed my shopping experience here, and I will be back!

Large, spacious, modernized Sport Chek! Unfortunately I have experienced poor customer service there multiple times, consistent enough to affect their rating. Waited 10+ mins at the equipment service desk today before even getting acknowledged by a single staff member. Also wish you could pay for your equipment services at their desk instead of lining up at the cash out again. Looking past this though, definitely a great place to see or try the merchandise bikes, shoe wall, sporting equipment, etc... first before making a decision. Great layout and apparel organized by brands and gender.
