Story

Nepal,despite being a tiny himalayan country situated between two giant countries China/Tibet and India,is renowned for her diversities-people,culture,clothing and foods etc.Dozens of ethnic communities ,who reside within Nepal from high mountains in the North to the flat land of the Terai region in the south respectively bordering Tibet and India,practise their own peculiar cultures that include wide variety of foods that as a whole form the Nepalese cuisine.

Spice of Nepal ,originally born at 5737,176th St,Cloverdale,BC in 2013, aims at its best to introduce the very Nepalese Cuisine to the world community.Nepalese cuisine provides unique blend of flavours and aroma since it is prepared with Nepalese spices,ingredients and style along with the Indian,Thai and/or Tibetan influences.

Spice of Nepal is not only committed to serving freshly prepared Nepalese cuisine like MOMO,Thakali and Newari dishes but also open for popular Indian dishes like Naan and Tandoori to Thai cuisine chowmein.

The spices ,which are hand-picked, dried and grounded by our Chefs, give our foods a unique flavour. Most of the ingredients needed are readily available in supermarkets and in many health-food, Asian and Indian grocery stores. A typical full-course Nepali meal includes an appetizer, rice, soup or lentil gravy(daal), a vegetable curry, meat and pickle or chutney, followed by a dessert, tea, coffee or other beverage.
