The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise for the family. We didn't expect such good food in this complex. The restaurant makes a good first impression when it comes to appeal with very attractive decor, TV's and a bar. However on closer inspection, we can see the age with smelly toilets and boxes strewn about. Thankfully the service and food more than make up for the drawbacks. An excellent selection of tandoori breads, tasty and light veg as well as non-veg curries and snacks delight the senses and satisfy hunger pangs after shopping at Fruiticana. Would definitely come again however, I sincerely hope they can do something about their toilets at least.
Ordered online for a takeout and was charged 10% tip automatically like 3 items like wth? When asked the restaurant to cancel the tip, they informed that the website charges it and they cannot do anything about it. Anyway, the food was just below average. The chilli chicken has sweet flavour and the Baigan Bhartha was so salty with tons of turmeric yuck! It was such a waste of time and money! Better stay off this place. Never ever going back!
Food is satisfactory. The pakoras were crispy with a good balance of spices. The mint sauce could be slightly better. Chicken Tikka Masala was fine but the quantity of pieces should have been more. The naan bread was good and crispy.
Terrible, over priced and a waste of money. There was so much water in my chaat papdi, I called to figure out what’s going on with my food and didn’t get any proper service - rude and unprofessional. I won’t be coming back or placing an order here again.
We ordered chow meins last Sunday. The moment I open the box to serve the food to our guests, I was so passed off to see the color off the food ! They put turmeric in it and did NOT use SOYA SOUSE at all to make chowmeins !!!!! It was so weird in taste and all of my guests sarcastically asked me the name of the restaurant from where I ordered it !!!. We just throw whole bowl in the garbage as everyone leave this item in thier plates ! Looks like someone used indian dal or currency turka to make chowmeins. Very poor recipe !!! I wouldn't not recommend this place to bank on for ordering food to deliver at home.
There were a couple of large parties of more than 8 so the noise level was to be expected. The service was top notch, they asked the spice level and confirmed when it came that it was good. I ventured outside of my comfort zone and ordered only food I'd never tried. Best new find was the Lamb Saag. Definitely recommendFood: 4/5
Amazing food. Wife and I come from downtown Vancouver to enjoy this restaurant. Unfortunately , everytime we are there the service is so slow. Wait staff don't seem to be focused on patrons at all. They walk by and ignore us completely unless we ask. This has been consistent over years now. Need to reaccess their waiting system. Take out orders, take the staff away from the patrons at tables.
% recommended, We had new year party here. we had great fun, amazing food, friendly staff even restaurants owner was dancing with us. And they gave us discount too. Comfortable place for small parties 55 person reasonable price of food and place.
I love the food here. It’s always good. But they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to delivering reliable service and items. I have been delivered the wrong food and delivered my food with missing items on a number of occasions. Disappointing considering it’s online ordering. It’s not a matter of misunderstanding or anything, it’s just carelessness seemingly. Great food though.
Fantastic service, well spoken waiting staff. Food was mediocre, was not bad but nothing to be excited about. The atmosphere of the place was good too. Not too busy when I was there and the place is quite big too with sitting spaces that allow some privacy.Food: 3/5
