I've been meaning to write a review for Rapscallion for a few weeks. The meal I had here was incredible. My group of 4 tried 9 different menu items and each of them were fantastic. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is laid-back. We did bring our own wine because their wine menu is lacking a bit. Overall, an incredible meal, one of the best that I have ever had in Hamilton. I can't wait to go back. I'll post pictures in the future. A++

The staff is alive,happy,friendly and knowledgeable of the items on the menus alongside the wines and craft beers available. The food is incredible and presentation of each dish is unique and eye pleasing. The layout of the restaurant is perfect, no matter where you sit you can see the chef cooking and preparing your meal. Great place for local food in a tapas style gourmet a 1 of a kind place to eat! Seating is small so go early opens at 5 everyday

Reality check. $17 for a grilled cheese sandwich. $18 for 5 tablespoons of risotto with 2 shrimp and a small octopus. Every Snack was the same, WAY overpriced for tiny portions. Not sure how people can justify paying this much for such small portions in a place like this? You might expect these prices in a fine dining restaurant in NYC. Service was good. Go to Merks on Ottawa st., larger portions, better flavours and half the price.

Amazing!! This is my new favourite place to dine 😊 I love the concept of sharing little meals to enjoy a bunch of different tastes instead of eating one single huge entire meal. Hopefully other restaurants get on board. To give an idea of price: husband & I shared five dishes, two alcoholic beverages, two coffees and two desserts and total cost was $122. I thought it was decently priced and the quality of food makes it even more worth it. Will visit again and thanks for the excellent service.

Can't get enough of this place. The dishes are so well thought out, the flavors always compliment each other so well, the portions are perfectly sized. It's all delicious!
