Very gentle walk through old growth. The beach trail was closed due to a wash out. When we went, it looked like there had been some trail maintenance done since there were branches and trees strewn around. You do need to pay for parking; there is a machine in the parking lot that issues day permits and yearly parking passes.

Seems like a nice park. Wish we had had more time to visit. A quick stop on our way back home late in the day.

I believe this is the oldest growth forest on the island. Walk the trails on the hill across the road from the campgrounds. Magical and a bit muddy.

Gently rolling trails through moss coated cedar trees. What's not to love? Nice easy walks for everyone.
