Island Lake County Park

Solid park for small picnic. Held company outing here for 100+ and was very spacious. The outdoor pavilion can accommodate roughly 80 and provides (2) open air grilles. Nice and quiet by the water. Electrical outlets for sound systems or what have you. Note that it is reservation only. They cut power on at the time scheduled so be aware. Don't count on having electricity until then. Tons of parking available. On the adjacent side there is a small launch and playground for roughly 10-15 kids. Indoor enclosure is also available for rent and holds roughly 120 (?). Fishing pier is also available and swim are immediately next to Indoor cabin area. Good little park with a lot to offer. Would recommend.

Great place to bass fish. Very peaceful. Absolutely beautiful!

Nice paved trail around a small scenic lake, Playground, small athletic field, public swimming area, event center. It's a good place for families.

Water is warm, but dirty. The trout I got was from last year's restock. It was full of power bait. Ended up not eating it. But it is a fun lake, with lots of military. So it's nice to be able to talk with people when your out there.

Beautiful!! This park has a beach with life jackets on loan. Plenty of picnic tables with BBQ grills. Climbing toys for children. Great dock for fishing. Great place to spend the day!
