Very nice historical state park. Neat learning about the history and experiencing the views they saw, including seeing boats passing by. Unfortunately no whales, maybe next time! We went on a Sunday on a free state park day, so it was busy, but not too busy to enjoy everything! We did some hiking as well

Fantastic way to spend a days hike. We love taking our girls out here to explore. Would also be a great place to walk your dogs. There is always somewhere new to explore with the many trails Fort Ebey has to offer. The lake and waterfront are fantastic and peaceful. Highly recommend for a days outing.

It's windy here, especially in the winter! Bring that jacket! Great place to fly a kite or have a picnic. There are old world war 2 tunnels you can walk through as well. You can also rent an old barrick room, but I'm not sure if the price. We just go for the day. Sunset is gorgeous here!

Nice quiet beach (weekday in late April). Perfect easy get away for the day. Within minutes of being there saw a river otter swim by, a bald eagle land on the tree behind us eying the four legged 3lb meal on a leash, and swarms of seagulls preying on two schools of feeding frenzy. Short hike with two switchbacks from parking lot to beach.

A really cool park on beautiful Whidbey Island. There is a lot to do and is definitely worth the trip out from Seattle if you're staying longer than a few days. Breathtaking views, beaches, bluffs, forests, and an old explorable abandoned fort. So much of what the Northwest has to offer packed into one park!
