South Vancouver Medical Clinic

I just had my doctor’s appointment this morning, and I forgot to bring a mask. The receptionist named Taz or Tess told me to get a free one downstairs. It took me so long to get the mask because of the long line. When I got back while waiting I have seen the same receptionist giving a free mask to the client ahead of me. When I asked her why she gave me hard time to get one, she said they are charging but I did not see her charged that client. To the management of the clinic, please check if she’s really telling the truth as she’s impartial to others. Thanks so much! I appreciate all the doctors and staff who are really nice and professional.

I wouldn’t even give this clinic one star but let’s say the star is for location which is convenient. Other than that it has no redeeming qualities. I’ve been going here for about three years and I kid you not, they don’t even do basic things like check your blood pressure. They should just put a sign on the door that reads: “Welcome and thank you for keeping us afloat with your visit. Please note we don’t actually care about you. Please scan your QR code and have a seat. There might be a wait but rest assured, a condescending doctor will be with you shortly to not listen to you in a three-minute rushed appointment.” Avoid this dumpster fire of a clinic if you can. Unless you like dealing with gross incompetence and general apathy by people who have your life in their hands. Worst clinic I’ve ever been to.

Excellent staff and pretty short wait times as long as you book online. I was pretty apprehensive initially because of the old reviews but the place was clean and the staff were nice. You don't have a lot of time with the doctor but that's pretty expected. For bad reviews, I'm guessing it's mostly foreigners not used to how healthcare works here in Canada. Have your questions ready, get your prescription/diagnosis/referral, then be on your way. note: Dr. Au Yeung has been treating me, and I'm really happy with him so far.

Hard pass. I would not go here. I went out of convenience. "Dr." Rose Wong didn't evaluate me properly. She's lazy. She sat in her chair far far away from where I was sitting instead of coming up to me. I explained to her that I suffered a neck and shoulder injury at work. I explained to her that I'm in a lot of pain. She asked me to stand up and then said "well you're getting up properly" lol. She didn't examine my neck or shoulder once. She then brushed me off and said that everyone gets a strain and to just go to physiotherapy. She was going to send me back to work in a couple days. She didn't even mention sending a doctors note to wcb. She is a lazy "Doctor". If I followed her direction I could've ended up getting even more hurt. I went to my Family doctor after a couple days he said that my neck has so much inflammation & that I have 20% movement in my neck. He took me off of work for a couple weeks. "Dr". Rose Wong lacks every quality as a doctor its embarrassing. Also, this place is a rip off. They'll charge you $40 for a doctors note even when the "doctor" is incompetent.

Fast queue and convenient since they have the qr code for appointment purposes. The doctor I met Dr. Wong is not very accommodating. She just told me that Im still young, I don't look sick and no need for a checkup, judged me and let me go just like that, wherein I need to have my wrist checked because of pain for more than a month now and my headaches or being lightheaded most of the time. And I think they also need to do a basic physical checkup to see if there's any other issues?

Ok. Pros: Convenient location. Online self booking which I love Have some nice Doctor. Provide masks at $2.00 a piece, which is stupidly expensive But! convenient if you dont want to go downstairs. Cons: *They charge for masks when other clinics offer it for free. *physio service Their physio therapists service is a physio Mill. meaning they give you hands on treatment for like 5 mins. Then hook u on two machines for the rest of ur treatment. and while ur on those machines, they go to other patience. So they get paid more through volume. Real physio therapy gives you 1 on 1 for the whole duration of ur appointment. and don't leave u hooked up to stuff to check out other clients. *Doctors First off, dr Budai sucks big time. do NOT book him Many have mentioned condescending drs and I am pretty sure they're talking about him. Since going there, i have tried 3 different doctors and there is 1 dr i will always go to. he is kind, not condescending, patient and does not over complicate things. I wont say who the dr is since he is starting to be a bit popular. But ya, if one doesn't work, but you still like the location, try other doctors till you find a good one. There are actually a few doctors there that are really good. Find one that suits you. But if your going in with more then 1 one issue at a time, or with a whole family each with their own issues and the drs get annoyed, thats on you. Don't be a pill and say the drs suck. Cause sometimes, it really is our fault they're annoyed. Be kind, be understanding, be courteous and be patient get it? and your experience will go well. Good Luck

For Drivers exam they promised lower price as long as you book online. They end-up charging my card higher cost. After i have emailed to them they said that no refunds, I asked for cancellation they say unable to cancel. When I showed up to see the doctor and told him about that, he was ready to refuse service. Scammers, what can I say. Staff will not reply to your emails if you ask for cancellation. No way to contact them via phone. That clinic is a bad practice for the SuperStore. After visiting that clinic you don't want to shop at SuperStore.

I have visited this medical clinic for the last 5 years and haven’t really had any problems or complaints accept for today. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed in the non existent beside manners of a Dr. Budai Balint, as a Dr you should have some form of professionalism when addressing a patients medical concerns and asking for a repeat prescription rather than to tell them to “stop eating carbs such as pasta, rice, potatoes” and “change your eating and lifestyle to lose weight which would solve this medical concern” Even the skinniest or healthiest of people can have the same medical concern. Coming to a Dr’s office is to be in a safe place to get help without judgment shared out loud, you never know what someone is feeling, their personal life situation or how they will take your comments. As I will never return back due to the lack of patient care, please take my comment and use it moving forward as you never know what someone is going through or is feeling.

Horrible bedside manner with Dr.  Sturwold. She is constantly late and doesn't listen to patient feedback and is rude. She is not empathetic and should not be telling the patient about what she cannot do. She is always late and expects people to make time for her and there is no respect for patient's time. Really. Fix your service and listen to feedback rather than talking over your customers and then blaming them. Read the below reviews, your service is not good at all!

Great for a walk in clinic, decent doctors and patient, well informed, hard working front line staff. I would suggest making an appointment online first as a rule. Walk ins are not advisable anymore with the doctor shortages being as bad as they are.
