Amazing experience. It was our first time buying a brand new car and the experience was a little daunting. Kyle O our sales guy was awesome. He let us test drive a few vehicles and really took time to listen to our needs. He was great at keeping in contact even after we left the lot to think things over and he found us the perfect vehicle for our family. We are very grateful and what great service! Thank you Kyle.
Booked 72,000km service package which listed price online to include various services, price online changed when in store and they just blame “the website” it’s YOUR website lol … in addition to the package price changing there is also the very misleading, bait and switch small print would show it only includes the service charge so you will still pay $60 - $70 for your “included” oil change parts/shop supplies … otherwise known as the cost of an oil change anywhere else in Calgary.nnInitially presented a bill for $1200 … once I pushed back and went over it with them they removed the duplicate charges, the charges for work that should have been covered under warranty, and I paid $600. Had I sent my wife to pickup they would have double charged her… they recommended resurfacing the brake rotors for $700 “all glazed up” see attached picture, smooth and shiny, no problems with these rotorsnnAfter catching their $600 in mistakes there wasn’t so much as a sorry for wasting all your time and trying to rip you off, just “sign here” and pay, and seemed like I was irritating them by finding their mistakes. The first guy just put his hands up when I said price was wrong and said he couldn’t help and went to find someone else. Took 3 staff to get the service order right.. wonder why overhead so high.nnPrevious time here for recall warranty work on my last car they didn’t attach skid plate so it tore off on highway one… wish they were better cause they are walking distance to my house, but they do crap work, rip you off, can’t be trusted rotors and don’t seem to care at all.
I was looking to trade in my 2021 Kia Soul and after having a awful experience at Straightline , I reach out to South Trail Kia, the process of trading my car was long, but Kyle Orchard and Alex Batog made the experience as smooth as possible. Kyle made sure to keep me updated with my car and the status of its arrival, Kyle even brought me rubber mats for my troubles.nCorporate Kia and Straightline should take a page out of Kyle and Alex’s book, they are friendly, honest, aim to make the Kia customer happy and have great work ethic.nI would recommend South Trial Kia, Kyle Orchard and Alex Batog if you are in the market for a new/used Kia
