4 and half stars! 1. Love their interior. I noticed chairs so comfortable and stylish Design. 2. Atmosphere .. comfy restaurant size. Music was not big volume, good choice music. 3. cutlery and tableware….especially their glass I just like it. 4. Server … even she made mistake but good watching table. 5. Food…. We tasted varieties. All good 6. Only one disappointed…. Tips set up from 18%. If dinner time yes maybe. They have parking spot rear building

It wasn't the best. The Brussels sprouts and brocolini was over cooked. The brocolini, instead of a vibrant green, it turned to the yellowish green color, indicating it was cooked for too long. Tastes was okay. Ordered the arugula salad which I liked, it was different with the Golden beets and roasted grapes. We ordered a few different pastas. It wasn't like I would come back for it kind of good. More like, ehh, it didn't taste bad, but it wasn't great, it's something I can find a recipe online and make. For the price... I would forgo this restaurant and go somewhere else, or make it yourself at home. One thing I would say, the service here was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. She would always come by to ask if we needed anything and to top off our glasses.

We came here for lunch and loved it! The chef, I believe his name was Scott came out and talked to us about the menu and was so nice! The brunch menu is really unique and a nice change from typical brunch menu offerings. We loved everything we ordered especially the blood orange mimosas. The restaurant is really beautiful and the vibes were great. We will definitely be back.

On paper this restaurant has everything to be one of the best restaurants in Calgary, from the great venue to the delicious food. With that said, tonight I was very disappointed with the level of service, and the careless attitude from the staff. I am a fair person, and I invite you to read my 600+ reviews, but when one goes out to eat it is not just for delicious food but for a good experience, and this was not a good experience. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and when we got to our table we waited for 15 minutes to get just water. 20 minutes later we were finally able to order and between the Antipasti and the main dishes we waited for 45 minutes! What? That is not even healthy! The most disappointing part is that I had called days before asking to have a birthday dessert for my wife with candles or whatever they do there and that simply never came, and at that point I just needed to get home. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, and we were done with dinner at 10pm. For a moment I thought they were understaffed, but then I quickly realized that was not the case. In most kitchens it is hectic, it is non-stop work, every one is working hard to get dishes out.... well, you could see the kitchen staff dancing, chatting and waiting around, that is when I honestly felt insulted. Food 5 stars, Service 2, atmosphere 4.

First time coming here, when we arrived we asked the hostess if we can be sat at a certain table. Not too long after getting settled the manager had ask us to move saying they had a reservation. We moved to a smaller spot which was ok however as we dined no one ever showed up to the spot we originally sat at. This is a poor move my management and looks bad on them when they do this. When you screw up you should not make someone move. The food was ok here, I have had way better Italian food in town. The tartar was overly lemony and the parpadelle was quite bitter. The octopus was tender and texture was ok. Taste was good but not great. Presentation with the French lentils made it look like a poorly presented dish. Overall the only good thing was our waitress Sunny, she made our 1 yr anniversary much better. Sunny was amazing and a great server deserves a raise. Not coming back anytime soon nor will I recommend this place.

Sorella was good overall. The patio upstairs is nice to be in the middle of the centre Street rooftops. We shared three dishes. We likely could have had a fourth. Found the food was similar to Mercato which is not a bad thing. We had gotten rained out but could have stayed longer.

Decent food but nothing that’s spectacular. Plating could be improved. You can judge from the photos. The flavor is there for the most part but execution is a bit weak. For the price point I expected a bit more. I’ve had better at other places in Calgary or Toronto, at or less for the money. Menu is limited as well. Spent $112 after tip for two people. Just two pasta dishes, a drink, an appetizer, and gelato that was shared. Inside is very loud. Decent decor. Tip is set at 18% or more on their machines.

INCREDIBLE FRESH PASTA! Oh my gosh, the pasta is amazing! The presentation/plating is top notch Very impressed. Beautiful restaurant with a cozy inside. I would recommend reservations to ensure you get a seat! Great rooftop and yummy specialty artisan beer/drinks. WILL BE BACK!!!!Food: 5/5

Needing to be in the area for some errands, we came to Sorella Trattoria for lunch. There's free parking in the back. The interior was elegant and modern. Our server was kind and happy. We ordered the Linguine and the Polpo. My wife got the Spicy Sangria. The Linguine was visually beautiful and ate nicely. The server advised us that meals are meant to be family style and shared. While the pasta was delicious, the portions were definitely not meant beyond 1 person. The polpo was on the sweeter side While my wife liked the flavor, I would have preferred a more savory sauce. The octopus was quite tender with not a chewy bite. My wife ate it all happily. We enjoyed our meal and would come back.

Sorella Trattoria’s vibe & décor is gorgeous! As soon as I walked in, it felt like I was transported to foreign city for a little vacation. We then walked up the stairs to be seated on their stunning rooftop terrace. What a vibe up there! Plus, there’s a beautiful view of downtown Calgary. I have zero complaints about my experience today. Every component of our service was so lovely! Our servers were very personable, attentive and didn’t mind making accommodations for my friend who had a specific requests or two. I loved their choice of tableware and glassware! For real - lol I really get going when these items feel and look like quality pieces. The plating was extremely aesthetically pleasing. I mean c’mon!!! Look at the pics! Every bite was…chef’s kiss. My friend and I ordered to share: - non-alcoholic beverage Sorellina sp? -Americano - Melon and Prosciutto Salad - Egg & Polenta with handmade sausage -Lemon Ricotta Pancake We left full, satisfied, and very happy. Clearly…we will be back again sometime soon. What a fantastic experience!
