We're a community organization dedicated to the completion and enjoyment of Sorauren Park.
The Friends of Sorauren Park (formerly Wabash Building Society) is an all-volunteer, community-based non-profit organization.
We are focused on completing Sorauren Avenue Park by expanding into the industrial land along Wabash Avenue that the City of Toronto purchased for the park in 2000. This land includes the future Wabash Community Centre.
The FOSP also promotes the park generally, offers programming such as the Outdoor Movie Series and natural ice rink, and maintains the websites SoraurenPark.com and BuildWabashNow.org.
FOSP meetings are open to the public and you are invited to attend and get involved. We are always looking for new members! We usually meet the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Sorauren Fieldhouse.
