I'm giving it 2 stars because I did find an area safe to play with my dog, however there was glass?? Just?? Everywhere?? And a pretty fair amount of garbage, it was sad. Probably wouldn't be my first choice for a picnic.
I love this park, because it has a slope that's similar to the cinema, there used to be Christie Pits Film Festival all throughout summer before Covid and they would should free classic films.
This is one of the best known parks in Toronto yet this was my first time. It was much smaller than expected.
This was my summer run destination..the park is quite big. Nice place for a walk, run, walking dogs, families to spend a sunny afternoon/evening.
Public skating rink is open and there are washrooms open. Hill looks good for tobogganing. Lots of area to walk distanced. Looks like it has lots of activities in the summer.
It's gotten really nice over the years. Great outdoor pool, newly done basketball court, outdoor firepit, etc.
I like this park because it is close to my home. Helpful for my exercise and peace of mind.
