Sonnys is great. Its definitely part of Waterloo tradition especially fish and chips. Ive been going here for 20+ years along with my entire family. I love that its still got that original feel and vibe to it.
Sonny's is the best fish & chips in town. It doesn't look like much, but the quality speaks for itself. There is a reason it's one of the oldest restaurants in town. Love it!
You can't really find a better old-school "fast food" burger than Sonny's. Delicious, quick, and good service. A local legend.

After reading the reviews I had really high expectations but was extremely disappointed. The fries were over cooked, dry and they tasted like the oil they were fried in desperately needed to be changed. The onion rings have too thick of batter. Fish was a let down, hot dogs were decent at best. First and last time for us.
Always an awesome place. Great classic amazing food. Thanks.
