Has its pros and cons.....depends on the management which changes consistently. Makes things difficult on both sides. But here it is October 3rd and very chilly.....NO HEAT ON. This and a few other issues I do not recommend this building for the prices they ask.

We've lived here for over a year now and have not experienced any of the former complaints. This building has been maintained at a very high standard with clean halls, elevators etc. Daily the staff are out there taking care of both the interior and exterior grounds. Problems reported to the office are handled rapidly and resolved in a timely fashion. These 2 apartment buildings have the most beautiful surroundings to live in the NCR. Pets are allowed and for the most part seem to be well kept by their owners. Always on a leash and seldom do we ever hear dogs barking. Of course, it would be nice if the outdoor pool was heated but we can live with this situation. The indoor heated parking is certainly appreciated during the long winter days. Thank you Paramount for providing a nice home for us in our senior years. This paid visitor parking policy has to go!! Most of the time the spots are empty. For now, my visitors choose to park out on the city street. Hopefully the city counsel will soon dis-allow this practise as this is our home and visitors should be allowed to park FREE.

I've lived here since 2012. The paid parking is a nominal charge, it is not anything out of control. The bed bug issue was handled and even though many of the reviewers say the buildings are infested with bed bugs, this is not the case. The buildings are well kept and clean. The outdoor maintenance is excellent as well. We had a lot of snow the other day, and they were out shoveling, salting and clearing the snow from the parking area throughout the day. They give 24 hours notice if they are going to be entering your unit or if there is going to be a disruption to a service i.e. water shut off, fire alarm testing, etc. When I read some of the reviews, it is as though I'm living somewhere different from other people. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off. The location is perfect, right beside the mall, plus easy access to buses.

I've lived here for 3 years in the 2055 building. I have nothing to complain about. Sure it's an older building, but it's well maintained. I've NEVER seen cockroaches or bed bugs!! I didn't give it a 5 star because there seems to be issues with the washers and dryers all the time. I've lost so much money to these machines, so now I do my laundry at my boyfriends place whenever I can. The area is great.. grocery store, LCBO, beer store, drug store and Carlingwood Mall right next door. The swimming pool is fantastic in the summer. It's well maintained and clean. Overall, I'm very happy living here.

It is a good place to live, and it is located near all the amenities that you will need, including a shopping centre, bus station and schools. The buildings are clean and tidy, the unit has a good size, it is very bright and has a big balcony. The staff, management team, and rental officer is always friendly and very helpful. A good and conviniente place to live!

It used to be good until another company bought it and changed the management and staff around 2009. Then everything went south. They don't care about tenants at all. I once made a noise complain about the tenant in my floor. That guy of course denied it, so when I made the complain again, what did the management say? "You guys sort it out or I kick you both out". Not to mention the endless "renovation" inside the building. Such a loud noise! They started really early and just didn't care. I happened to know a family who just had a new born at the time. Imagine their life! Sure they have a good location, but if you want to live a peaceful and quiet life, this is not the place! Oh, did I mention they have bedbugs, just google it!

This place is terrible. It is very old with cockroaches. The first year we found mice as well. The worse experience is with the noisy neighbors. They do not respect anything and make noise constantly. I complained to the property manager about that. His response was.. I talked to them and they denied that they make noise..that's all! He did not take any further action. Stay away from this building if u want to have a decent lifestyle.

Bed bugs, cockroaches, and incompetent staff. Need I say more? When I first moved in, in 2014, I would have given 4 stars. But since October 2018 I've been dealing with cockroaches that have entered my unit from the unit below me. The words of the now former employee. Took them a month to come for the "inspection". Do yourself a favour, write down EVERYTHING. Do not leave ANYTHING to word with these people. They DO NOT respect anyone that sleeps outside of the daily norm, so if you're a night shift person, be prepared for illiterate employees knocking on your door or calling your phone at insane hours. Even if you ask them politely on numerous occasions not to, and even go out of your way to give them a rough daily schedule so they can choose an appropriate time to contact me. They will ignore it, like they do everything else. Building's cable/phone system is super old and does not allow for any reasonable internet/cable services. They will not upgrade. They're trying to up my rent again, without having fixed the problems in my unit. Took them 4 years and 3 different men to fix a leaking toilet. Still have a closet barely hanging on to its hinge, bathroom ceiling is peeling yet again despite their two poor attempts to repair it. For 4 months now, I've had the roach problem....I'm going to have to buy new soft items couch, bed, etc that they have made ZERO offer or effort to cover. Really makes you feel like a lower class of person... You also have the lovely feeling in the back of your head of "who is going to illegally enter my apartment today when I'm not home, eat their lunch in my bedroom, and hurt my dog again". Yeah.. it happened folks. I suggest installing a high security lock and stipulating that ONLY the building manager have the key. They seem to enjoy discrimination against people with long hair and beards. Did you know that if you have a beard and long hair, and you become upset, you automatically become a threat to everyone around you?!?! I found that out the hard way... I am not ALLOWED to be angry with building management. So... if you like bugs and rude/ignorant management that takes zero responsibility for their actions, with zero remorse or appology for said actions...this is the building for you. I'll be moving as soon as I can afford to.

This could be a great place to live, but the pigeons ruin it. We can't use our balcony because of the poop and management doesn't seem too interested in helping. They did do a good job dealing with the bedbugs, so don't worry about that. Also, the lack of free visitor parking is a pain for many.

Forced to give one star or else it would be zero. What didn't I like about my experience? Thank GOD my lease is over, where do I begin... Maybe with the fact that there is currently a mouse in my unit and nobody is helping me get rid of it? Or the fact that every time they come in my unit to do a showing they always leave without turning off the lights even though I'm the one who pays hydro? Or maybe the fact that I can't have my window open at night because I live next to a busy street with ambulances ringing ALL night. The ambulances don't wake me up as much as the potheads though, expect all your stuff to smell like pot while you live here. Oh and the recycling program is a joke here, and so is the parking. They tell you that there's these "tunnels" you can walk in during winter so that you don't have to walk in the cold, don't believe that. Unless you pay for indoor parking $100/month they don't give you access to those tunnels. Also, I have the misfortune of needing an outdoor parking and so I have to go up and down metal stairs to get to my car, and guess how that goes in the winter or rainy days? Bout as well as you can imagine I've fallen down those stairs from hell multiple times. There are many more small things I could talk about like the fact that the shower temperature is ridiculous if anyone on your floor decides to flush the toilet while you're in the shower, you will know about it trust me. The only thing I like about this place is the natural light, and that won't save this apartment. Not worth your money people.
