Sobeys Elmsdale

If you’ve gone to Elmsdale to pickup a loaf of bread, milk or other grocery essentials, the only options is Sobeys or Superstore. Which to choose? Hands down the answer is always going to be, Sobeys.nnI’ve shopped at Sobeys, Elmsdale for many years, the reason why? Their staff are ALWAYS incredibly friendly, helpful, happy and caring. There have been countless times that I’ve run in for a few things, couldn’t find something due to being in a rush, and their staff had always helped especially when it comes to rain checks. On one occasion I stopped in to purchase some items for my teen daughter, and their staff member, Janet, took the time to patiently direct me to the best products.nnTheir staff are amazing! Shoutout to, Angelina, Cindy, Janet, Christine, Nichole, Dylan, Todd meat department and the many students hires. Great job Sobeys, looking forward to grocery day next week!

The staff are friendly and instead of just telling which isle to go to, they take you there and show you where you can find what you are looking for. And the cashier was pleasant to deal with. Lovely experience at Sobeys Elmsdale.

Cashier was more interested talking to coworkers than cashing people out. Always find the middle aged employees here to miserable and rude

Every single time I go to this store for specific items such as vanilla maple Sperri and certain bakery products they NEVER have it, when certain things that I purchase go on sale it seems that they are removed from the shelves entirely! Usually very POORLY stocked in all other areas as well, elmsdale Sobeys needs to get it together or they will lose more business and I am not the only one that feels this way!

Good store, the staff are friendly but where have all the shopping baskets gone? As of February 2025 there have been no baskets available for the past 4 visits. Not convenient. Myself and a few others were walking around with their arms full of groceries today. I’m not going to be forced to use a trolley for a quick shop… it’s not convenient. Hopefully the baskets are back on the next visit.
