Snail Lake Regional Park

Easy paved loop trail around marshy area. Lots of blue herons, egrets, ducks, & more in summer. Have also seen a bittern, and green herons. Winter has few birds sometimes some woodpeckers, & other birds we could hear but not find. Winter brings its own beauty. Less windy by marshy area on cold days kind of in a bowl so better option than many places when temps are below 0.

Gorgeous space to relax and enjoy nature. Great picnic area! Next visit we'll bring our bikes!

It's a great park, with a no lifeguard beach. Shallow swimming area. Boat launch. Playground with a huge pavilion, which I believe you have to rent from the city. But yet, there's always the lazy slobs that shoot off fireworks and leave their trash on the beach. Which in turn makes these people....trash.

A nice lake and park in Shoreview. The paved paths are great for walks and bike rides. The beach is pretty wide, and there's a boat launch. The pavilion on the top side is huge.

We normally have our family reunion picnic once a year, besides during the pandemic, we stopped for the past couple of yrs. Anyways, this is one of my favorite shelters when we host our family reunion picnics. It is clean, spacious parking lot with a really nice big playground for the kids.

Beautiful park with playground, swim beach, picnic tables all over, & walking trails. Playground: Big, lots to do. Volleyball court too. Restrooms: Clean, no mirror Dog-friendliness: Great walking trails Picnic area: Lots of tables, no grills that I seen.

Easy lake access, though a small lake. Nice beach too. Lots of great trails, paved and unpaved. Good playground for the kids.

Love this place. My kids absolutely love this playground. You can picnic here and there is a lot of space. Only down side for me is that there is no path to walk around the lake.

Lots of fun with the hounds at the park today. We've been there several times, and it's always the best place to get together

Great playground for younger kids. All the platforms are lower so you don’t need to worry about falls from high up like other playgrounds. There’s a pavilion with plenty of picnic tables nearby and a bathroom that’s open during the summer.
