Rice Creek Off-Leash Dog Area

It's pretty dry here with little shade. It's a dirt/sand loop (.75mi?) with stopping points along the way. bring closed toe shoes or sneakers! In the main greeting area it would be nice to have grass or trees. There isn't a swimming pond like in the pictures. Pros: the people are dogs are really nice and friendly!

This park used to be great when ROMP still ran things. Since it's been fenced, three are a lot more people who don't even try controlling their dogs. It's also has almost no shade and there is often no want (unless people bring since). Access to the pond is now blocked, but that pond was kinda horrible anyway.

Awesome park for the dogs! Would be nice if the beach was open but they closed it feb 2017.

Lots of space for your dogs to run free and wear themselves out and give good exercise and communicate with other dogs that's what makes for a happy dog

Getting very popular so beware that there can be aggressive dogs with owners that do nothing. But other than that. My dog loves going. The place can get pretty muddy but that is fun for most pups!! Also there is a self-serve dog wash nearby called You Dirty Dog.
