Sitaara Restaurant

Came to this restaurant as I was driving through Toronto. I wanted something quick so I ordered the boneless chicken Biryani I forgot the name of the actual dish. It was delicious, spicy--as in flavourful, but not overly hot. I will come back here to order more different dishes down the road so look forward to an update!

Chettinad Chicken and Chicken 65 was awesome! Kerala parotha was well cooked. Amazing blend of spices. Well cooked meat and very good tasty and mouth watering food. Dine In Ambience is very good. Hats off the Chef!! Will definitely come in again to dine in ..

Best fish Biriyani in Markham, cooked with less oil,used exact proportion of spice. Service is quick and CSR is really kind, helped us with explaining the other dishes. Will visit again.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Taste is so authentic and full bursts of flavour in all their dishes. Been there a few times and have done take out never disappoints. Their butter chicken is so good and naan is great also try their parotta it’s a must, and their biryani is amazing!

I had a craving for some good South Indian cuisine and went to the Sitaara resturaunt. This resturaunt is located at 7595 Markham road unit 3, near New Delhi road in an outdoor featured Indian strip mall. Due to covid protocols the restraunt has a barrier in the front entrance area to keep people from entering the resturant just after getting through the front door so it is possible to order and pick up your food easily. I have been at the Sitaara resturaunt a couple of times and enjoyed their food. I find the food value for the quality and quantity to be very good. I particularily enjoyed eating the lamb biriyani as it had mouth watering flavorful spicies mixed in it. The tandoori chicken, naan bread, raita and the beef curry are also good. If you liked my review, photos or videos give them a new delhi good thumbs up.

This is a new restaurant which specialises in South Indian Cuisine. My family went to this restaurant for dinner after seeing their marketing on Facebook. We reached the place by 7PM and were the first customers on that evening. This might be the reason for personal attention by the staff. The menu is a mix of South Indian delicacies and a fusion of Chinese with Indian spices. I liked their 'Chef Special Chicken 65'. This was so unlike the usual Chicken 65. It was induced with Keralean Spices and black pepper in particular. We ordered Chicken curry, paneer tikka masala and Kerala Parotta. I loved the food served by them and was even satisfied with their prices. They offer very good service and have a friendly staff. Hope they stay the same and will definitely be coming back.

A taste of India right here in Markham! Loved the food, especially the mutton Biryani!! Food had great flavor and the chef modified the spiciness level as per our needs. Naans were super soft and delicious. Will return for sure!!

I had dosa and coffee from here as breakfast. It was not bad. But I felt like the masala in the dosa was slightly gone bad. I could feel the difference in taste.

Nice staff, great customer service, food was ok. I liked the Butter Paneer Masala, tasted really good. There wasn’t a lot of of options, with respect to “simply delicious” or even “la jawab grill”, which is just beside it, where the price is the same but you can find so many items.. We went to try since the place was new and it said South Indian food, but we could just find “idli & sumver” in the buffet, I was expecting Dosa, Bharha etc , more/mostly South Indian foods in the buffet. Nice environment though. Worth trying

Ordered from here for the first time. Staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, all of the food was burnt! All the pieces of chicken in the butter chicken were black and the skin tasted charred, and same for the naan. Had to end up throwing out most of it.
