The restaurant has to seriously consider a few things like ‘better management’ and ‘customer service’. Wait time was around 25 mins . Seemed like the employees were busy than what they could handle and their token system is bit confusing . We have to find our own seats after grabbing food from the counter. The food was good.
Rajdhani is the place for you if you are vegetarian. Good: The food is awesome for vegetarians. The tawa roti. It's sooo soft and great taste, I ate more than my regular quantity. The thali was also grate. Over all the food was tasty. The ambiance is also good and place is nice and clean. Lots of verity of sweets. Staff are also nice. Can be improved: There is no service at the table. You have to pick up the food from the counter. Just to be clear, nothing wrong with it. It's not usual for restaurants to ask customer to get the food themselves. That doesn't mean there is no other place this happens . But for the size of this restaurant, it can be improved. Overall a good place to dine in if you are vegetarian.
I did not know the reviews were that bad ...when I was about to write mine ... I have been here couple of times for takeout.. not knowing the dine in experience is that bad . My takeout experience has been pretty good as I call ahead of time and come in to take my orders . the curry was good and there dessert the carrots hawla is very good . As for dine in .. I hope the owner does take note ..that somethings need to be done to change for the dine in experience as .. everything is opening up for customers to come in . Staffing as we know is tough... I hope for their best .. and prepare their best .
Great place for indian breakfast and sweets. Nice sitting area and friendly staff. I always have the channa bhattura and it never disappoints. Good chai & pakoras as well. I do recommend. Vegetarian options: This is a vegetarian restaurant
My friend and i ordered kulcha chana and chana bhatura from markham location. Food was okay but the service was really slow. We were the only one in the restaurant but it still took 40-45 minutes to get our food.Recommended dishesChana Bhatura
visited last week and had not a good experience. We ordered thali meal and found plastic in the curd. and the response from the servers was unexpected like they don't even care about that. Secondly, what ever we were ordering they just took the order and later came back saying we don't have this right now. This was the first visit here and was very disappointed with food quality and customer service both. Hope restaurant will work on these issue. 2 servers checked themselves and confirmed that it was plastic.
My friend and I visited Rajdhani markaham on the way to Montreal and Toronto trip and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had the veg thali and gulabjamun for dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! Thank rupali and there members making my trip memorable with delicious food…
Most of the food was good especially dal and kadhai paneer but one thing turned me down was piece of plastic in the yogurt and that yogurt was almost like watery. The response was not satisfactory when notified the staff. Was expecting an ice cream faloodaa but it was out. Vegetarian options: Only thali Parking: Busy Dietary restrictions: Not many options in ala carte and salads or veggie bowl or low carb options
Honest review I have been first time here there are few things I like to share * They are short staffed as owner needs to understand they are contributing more efforts then they have to serve customer there are only 3 girls working a huge amount of order by themselves and taking care of the dinning area and serving everyone * The girls were giving there best to manage but mis manage is being the problem here for short staff * Food was ok not great as I love rajdhani channa battura every weekend I have been to like most of all of them in GTA this feels like this is the worst one because of the management they charge for extra onions, and wait time is too much for such a small order, cleaninness of the store, no napkins on the tables, customer cleaning tables by themselves * I clean my table * Hatts off to the girls who are working really hard by just a suggestion to owner please give more people as dinning area is open more people are going to come on weekends to have appropriate staff and look on the prices of the items as other rajdhani are not changing for the OINIONS AND STUFF I am not gonna come again and not recommend the place if the situation stays the same
This restaurant seriously needs better staff management, went in at 8:52pm and asked for dahi bhalla and chaat papri. Told us the section is closed. This happened like 3 times a row that lead me to post this. Employee named Yash acting as manager, seriously no etiquettes and tonnes of attitude. Had no better explanation for defending them. Is it possible to speak with upper management, someone sincere who cares about his/ her business?
