We ordered online Fish Pakoras, Chicken Biriyani, Shami Kebab Platter and Beef Nihari. Only Beef Nihari made it up to the mark. Rest of the items were below average taste wise and presentation wise. Fish Pakoras were too salty and few of them were only fried batters, no fish inside!! Chicken Biriyani had two bones and one small meat piece. And the biriyani didn't look appetizing at all. The Shami Kebab Platter was the most disgusting looking dish. I think the photo says it all. However Kebab Taste was ok, I believe they can make it better.
My friend took me to this desi place for lunch. We ordered Shami kabab, steamed chicken and palak paneer. Steamed chicken and Shami kabab was good, palak paneer was ok too but wasn’t fresh. Tandoori roti had a very good taste.
The washroom is very substandard. I just get a dirty feeling about here whenever I use the washroom but food is A+ The toilet is tilted towards the wall The sink has a screw going through the tap to turn it on Seeing this makes me doubt their cleanliness in the kitchen Why cant we have south asian restaurants with good hygiene? Ew!!
We were searching for authentic hand slaughtered Zabiha Halal food options in the Metro Vancouver area and this restaurant was recommended by some locals. Note: this is in Surrey and definitely not Persian or Mediterranean cuisine This is Pakistani style cuisine....average quality, but seems to be quite popular and busy. Generally Google Maps takes you to the other side of the restaurant....they have more parking available on the far side. We tried Chicken Reshmi Kabab ...good Chicken Biryani ...below average but I compared it to real authentic Hyderabadi Biryani Fried fish pakoras.....good Chana Bhatura...below average Crispy fried chicken ....actually good Goat Karahi...average Burgers....average
This is my second time I did this mistake and went to this place. You can’t even eat this food I swear all the food we ordered was from couple of days ago no taste at all. If you wanna waste your money go to this restaurant, this time I got my food to go otherwise I could get my money back
Thanks Mr. Rushd for addressing the complain of missing item in a Uber Eats delivery order. As you have already acknowledged the missing item issue and agreed to give me a credit for a lamb biryani, I am happy to close the complain. Also sent you a thank you email today 20 February, 2023 **Uber notified me they can’t refund and suggested me to notify Gulberg through rating option from Uber app. I actually notified that way and also sent a follow up email on February 11, 2023 after your reply and still waiting for the response from Gulberg. ***I called three times about a missing item and finally able to talk with the manager. He took details of the order and agreed to call back afterwards with a solution. It’s already 24 hours but nobody from the restaurant called me back. I also sent email once but no response there too. Are you trying to get away from the issue by ignoring the customer complain. Yes, you can. But the same time you are also loosing a customer who experienced a problem on his third order to the restaurant and never got the solution despite communicating with the restaurant manager.
Stumbled onto this restaurant through online food ordering platform and decided to give it a try. The price is very reasonable. Butter chicken cost less than $10! Granted it is smaller portion but still enough for two meals. The grill platter is good portion. Wished it came with rice instead of the fries which became soggy with the meat on top. Nothing spectacular about the food taste but an ok place to grab cheap, quick bite especially after finishing class at the nearby college.
Shitburg Tandoor and their disgusting food. We ordered chicken samosas and all of them had spoiled rotten chicken keema fillings inside. Such disgusting business practice to make people sick with their rotten food. Shut this place down dorks
Food is good specially the beef nihari , beef paya n steam chicken, cheese pizza.
We always eat at Gulberg Restaurant and the food is always good. On the other hand the staff is very nice and helpful.
