Apna Chaat House

Nice place to eat Indian street food. The ambiance was fine. Music was too loud but nice selection of Bollywood songs. The service was quick and the quantity was also decent for the price. Sizzling brownie with ice cream was also fine. The brownie was delicious and soft. But the hot chocolate was not how it is supposed to be, it was becoming chewy when it cooled down.

I was really impressed by our server. We had a hard time making our decisions for what to eat and she was so patient. The French Fries were tasty but lukewarm. The Sesame Paneer wasn't as good as usual. Again it was almost as though it had been sitting for a bit before we got it. The szechuan noodles with grilled chicken breast had a good flavour. As usual the chicken tacos were incredible. So delicious!! The sizzling paneer steak dish was a hit with my son as was the sizzling brownie for dessert!

So glad to have discovered this place. Loved the pani puri shots and all the chaats we tried. The place is set up very cute too. I would definitely bring friends here to give them a taste of Indian street food.

Loved the place and the vibe. Food and service were excellent. It’s crowded on weekends so have to wait though. Tried the food, won’t recommend the Pasta they have but the rest we tried was okay. A must try in Surrey if you crave for Indian street food.

Great place for some chat and other light or heavy fare depending on how much you eat! We really liked the ragda pani puri and chinese sizzler. One speciality here is the aam panna which is delicious.

We had a great experience at this place. The street food was amazing. Ani, our host was very helpful. We will come back again. Highly recommend.

Worst chats in Surrey. Momos were not even wrapped correctly. Dough sheet was too thick and fillings were barely present. Bhel puri was too sweet and lacked other taste. Kathi roll tasted nothing like Kathi roll and was too oily. Just hype and zero taste.

Overall, the quality and quantity is good Tawa Mutton; 5/5 Bone in mutton curry, that was flavorful and not greasy. Kulcha was toasted to perfection Good portion size to share Chole Bhature; 4/5 Average chole, bhature were fresh, comes with a side of raita and pickle Fish Sizzler; 3/5 The quantity of noodles compared to fish was too much. The fish itself was topped with cheddar cheese slices, that didn’t do much for the dish. Noodles were soggy and bland Chicken Momos; 4/5 Order comes with 7 pieces and a spicy sauce on the side

Food quality: 5/10 Food taste 1/10 Presentation 6/10 I only tried their thaali that had almost 8-10 items. Only pickle and chaat was good. Their curries were so sweet that you don’t need a dessert after your meal. In front of restaurant they have a small sign that says the thali price is 15.99 but when you go upstairs they will be like we have changed the price recently. That sign needs to be changed. You don’t wanna argue so you’ll order. But it’s not even worth it for $10.

Our search for good Indian food ended here. The vada pav and the accompanied fried long mirchi was straight out of Mumbai, the chat platter had mix of bhel puri, dahi batta puri and pani puri. The Chinese platter reminded us of dubai bikanerwala and finally chola battura was comparable to mumbai cream center. The kulfi falooda was amazing and brought back memories of Hazi Ali. This placed made our travel worth all the way from New Brunswick. Met the owner Mr. Yogi who has brought the best of Mumbai's food varieties and added his magic of love and hospitality into the tasty menu.
