Decided to dine in since we had ordered skip one night and enjoyed it. Brought our family of 5 it started out strong with minimal wait on getting our drinks and food order placed. However that’s where it took a turn for the worse. I had ordered a house salad and soup for my mains which came out at the same time as everyone else’s starters which ultimately left me sitting there awkwardly as everyone else ate, after an ungodly long wait for their mains. Even after waiting so long the pastas were both rubbery and dry making 75% of the dishes inedible, the pizza that came out was okay at best. One of the kids said theirs was “meh” and the other commented saying “it’s dry, even the pineapple is dry”. My house salad I ordered due to the fact I’m vegetarian had a hair in it when I arrived which I decided to just eat around since our server/bartender was nowhere to be found. Later found bacon in it at which point I called it quits, the tomato soup I ordered tasted like glorified tomato sauce. Overall was a waste of our time and money, won’t be back and won’t order take out again due to the fact they clearly don’t care and have subpar kitchen standards. Our server saw the untouched food and not so much as asked how anything was, not even once. Save yourself this experience and call it a pass.
First time at East Side Mario's, didn't really know what to expect. I liked the soup and the fact that it was all you can eat bread, soup, and salad. The main dishes didn't impress at all, I got the carbonara but it tasted like Alfredo instead. Could try it one time just to know what it offers but most likely won't be visiting again.
Much better than my last few visits! My last few visits to this location have been subpar. But this time it turned around heavily. Server was great! Wish I had gotten her name. Great service. Brought refills. Didn't even have to ask. Calamari was perfectly cooked and not chewy! Impressed! Vegetarian options: They have em! Parking: They have a lot. free
Definitely not worth $75 order for takeout. Cauliflower pizza and pasta dinner for 2. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Food was cold, portions were small, barely any sauce on pasta. Look like vomit really. The pizza taste burnt. We had accidentally order the food for 6:45 online. I called right after to change the time, but I feel like the food was probably made at the original time and left to sit. Tried calling the restaurant to let them know, but no one answers the phone. Needless to say, will probably never go back there.
Worst East side Mario‘s experience ever. First they try to rip me off with a 32 ounce pitcher of beer. When I questioned my server Gina, I was told I was wrong. After escalating the issue to the manager Owen, he brought out 2/2 beers to bring up the ounces to the standard 54. We ordered Parm sliders which came with 1/3 the regular amount of chicken. I again spoke with the manager and he said he would raise the issue with the kitchen, but no compensation was offered. If you want to eat at East Side Mario’s in Kingston, take a few extra minutes and drive to the one on division Street. At least they are not ripping off their customers! P.S. our server Gina never said thank you one time and her rudeness made us feel uncomfortable. Brutal! Edit: Gave back a star because corporate called and gave me $20 gift card.
The staff were fantastic!! The location was clean and well maintained. Mel-a-knee was the best wait staff I have had at any location...the food was tasty and portions were large...we will be back again...
Enjoyed a luncheon with family. Had a personal pizza with pepperoni sausage and olives. Thin crust lots of toppings. Unicorn smoothie was delicious sweet tasting though. Chocolate caramel fudge with vanilla ice cream was great and big enough to share for two. Server was friendly. Great time.
Well I use to work for East sides so saying that I wanted to actually take a minute and go into detail on how much I'm impressed First off the host said she needed to ask her manager if she could seat us, We get to our seat me my girlfriend and her friend. Our waitress welcomed us and and took our drink order approximately 5 minutes later our drinks arrived I was actually please other then she switched up a coke for a diet coke Then we got our soup witch was extremely yummy and enjoyed it very much so. So saying that now we are on to the cook. Let me tell you I would rather eat the food in the dish trap before eating what was brought to me. I ordered the sea food lingerie. I got 2 shrimp 3 of the mussels had no meat in them... was the cook hungry and 1 scallop I'm not going to go into about there order but I wouldn't take a homeless man out to eat here cause the trash in the dumpster would taste better than this. Sincerely your last time customer
Stopped in for a late lunch. Fiance and I planned to get the all you can eat soup and salad. We arrived at 1:30pm. Waiter brought our salads to us quite quickly. We had to ask for our soups approximately 30 minutes later. We had our soups and were wanting more soup and salad. We waited another 30 minutes for them to bring us the wrong soup. We were told the soup we ordered was gone and more was being made. We waited for another length of time and decided to leave around 3:30pm. We had other things to do. So, we ordered the all you can eat soup and salads, we each only had one soup and one salad in close to a two hour time slot. Very frustrating. We do realize they were busy but ignoring us instead of just saying that the wait may be greater than expected was uncalled for. The waiter was ignorant with us when we were paying. Will not be going back there. It appeared other customers were upset as well.
Great place... Great service. Good times. Food was great. Server was very good Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Parking: Lots of good parking
