Great place to have breakfast, not too busy and the staff is very friendly. Their bagels are delicious, my fav one is Aspendos salmon cream cheese. Surprisingly good coffee and hot choc. Desserts are tasty as well, try baklava and profiteroles.
Simit Bakery is pretty busy so it might be hard to find a table during peak hours. My Turkish friend took me here to try some Turkish pastries. They also have breakfast and lunch plates too. The San Sebastian Cheesecake was SO LIGHT and CREAMY!!! I feel like I could've eaten 2 pieces. The Baklava was also deliciously flaky and sweet! The bourek with spinach and cheese was EXTRA flaky! The pogacha with feta cheese and dill was a smaller, denser type of pastry. The stuffed bagel with sucuk and mozzarella was quite soft on the inside and sucuk is like a beef pepperoni. All the pastries are heated up for you. The Gozleme was like a flaky and flat stuffed pancake. The Manti Turkish dumplings were a lot smaller than I expected and filled with beef. Just imagine really tiny tortellini underneath all the creamy yogurt sauce. It was also my first time trying Turkish Coffee served with Turkish delight! I had mine with a bit of sugar and it was very rich and smooth? Overall it's a great place to stop by for some coffee and pastries and definitely get the cheesecake!
Simit Bakery Cafe is an amazing Turkish Bakery and an awesome spot for breakfast. They also offer halal meat not all meat is halal so ask before ordering. I highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches and the Nutella filled pastry.
I was surprised with the quality of the savoury food here! The beef Bourek was so delicious. The cheesecake was also fresh and tasty. I am not a big fan of bagels but I liked their version of it. They serve tea in traditional Turkish cups which is a nice touch. I had an americano coffee which was ok. Overall we enjoyed our breakfast here and will visit again to try other items.
Had brunch with friends nd took some cake home. Can’t say i regretted not getting the big Burnt cheesecake coz it didn’t last 24hrs. also, i messed up my pretty hot choco before i was able to take a pic. But yow!! It taste even better. would go back again for sure.
Lovely cozy Turkish bakery opened on West 4th. Great variety of bagles and baked goods. A little bit pricier compared to the size. But nice quality and freshness. The cheesecake is rich and creamy. Must try if you like cheesecake.
Here’s the only place that serves Turkish Manti in Vancouver. Their Baklawa is incredible, great atmosphere for studying and having a yummy breakfast
Authentic Turkish cafe ,this is good place for you if you like Turkish sweet and cafe We tried their breakfast, cheese cake,Turkish cafe Baklava ,tea, Most of the items were really tasty
Uplift your breakfast experience with this location. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Authentic Turkish cuisine experience really; light but very flavourful options. Do yourself a favour and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent everything. The cheesecake is obviously unreal, but the savoury baked goods is where they really shine. I personally love the stuffed bagels. All of them. I've never had Suzuk before, and now I'm hooked. Great service and reasonable prices for a fun experience.
