Have had to do many repairs on my car here recently, and IRVs has been great with getting the things I can’t do on my own done. Getting me in as soon as possible and getting the work done in good time, as well as reasonable prices! I definitely recommend getting work done!

Needed work on my 78 Trans Am Turbo 350 transmission, Sid with an incredible amount of transmission experience, realized the problem rather quickly after draining and dropping the pan, replaced the parts all within a couple hours- I expected it to be overnight or a couple days- an even nicer surprise came with the invoice pricing- it was far below my expected costs. We had a very bad experience here. Brought our vehicle in for an insurance claim three weeks ago and were just able to pick it up today. They were told to go through it with a fine tooth comb and were given approval by the insurance company to do whatever was needed but instead we were always having to call and check in to make sure certain issues were being addressed only to be told that they were waiting for approval from the insurance company? There was terrible communication between the insurance company and Irv's and both got caught up in a blaming game as to why our vehicle was not yet repaired. Furthermore, the front counter person seemed to get more irritated, less professional and more ignorant the more we inquired. We basically were put in the position to have to babysit to make sure the vehicle got done or it may still be sitting there. When it was addressed with the owner. we were basically brushed off and he would not hear what we had to say and chose to defended the poor behaviour of Mr. Personality at the front desk. Lastly, they failed to notify us on 2 counts that our vehicle was done. The first time we travelled 30 minutes from where we live to pick it up as indicated by my insurance agent only to find that multiple items had still not been completed. The second time it required us to call to find out our vehicle had been finished 2 days earlier. When we called them on this, they got tripped up in their lies. We were told that they did try calling my husband's cell phone however their number did not show up in missed or received calls nor did they leave a voice message. We were also told by the owner that they did not have my husband's cell number even though they had called him many times in the past. We have used Irv's many times in the past for a number of different vehicles. We have always been subjected to Mr. Personality's bad attitude until final we were driven to complain about him. As a result, rather then rectifying the problem, we were dealt more and more attitude. In closing, suffice to say, we will not be using Irv's Auto anymore and will be moving on to a more customer friendly, service oriented repair shop.

I got a quote done on my truck, for all of the parts they wanted $1,100, I found the same parts for under $600, they wanted four and a half hours of Labor to change my brakes out, which is understandable but I was also getting my CV joints replaced and tie rods so you literally have to take all the brakes off to replace the CV joints anyhow and then they were charging me labour for the CV joints, they are business i get that but at the same time when you are doing CV joints and just taking everything off what is the harm in just throwing new brakes on there because you would have had to put the old ones on anyhow? Anyways I got a quote somewhere else and my bill went from $2,700 to about 1300. Shop around.

Had my head gasket done in my jeep, rides better then it did when I bought it ! Highly recommend IRV's
