A bit more spendy than the usual Indian fare in Surrey. Food is good but not great.nnGol gappas 6 for $12 - yummynMixed Grill Board $ 39 - 4 stars. Dinner the 6 chutneys. Fish and wings were amazing. Seekh kebab and malai were ok.nChina town sizzler - $25 definitely not worth the price. 3 starsnZeher - stiff cocktail $15nLychee Gimlet - $14 fruity and fun but couldn’t taste the mango or the mango garnishnBrownie Sizzler - $10 worth the drive just to come for this. Contrast between cold ice cream and lava hot chocolate is magical
We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Surprisingly, my favorite dish was the paneer tacos.nnAlso, if you are in a group, you're probably better off ordering 2 of the smaller platters of pani puri instead of the larger size. They prefill the smaller platter of pani puri with the aloo, but they don't for the larger one. I also felt like there wasn't enough aloo for all of the pani puri, but there was a lot of pani.
We were 16 of us for dinner tonight. We were in the private room. The food, drinks and service was excellent. Ordered a lot of dishes and each and every one of them was too good. We had a great server who was very patient and calm and went out of her way to serve us. Highly recommend this place.
Awesome fusion food experience in Surrey.nBefore I forget, UBER drops at the old address where this restaurant previously existed - now that place is APNA CHAAT HOUSE. Just make sure if you’re using UBER…it shows the correct address for SHOWSHAA - 3020 152 Street.nThe Gol gappa pani puri was great…tangy, spicy and pretty well balanced. The grilled fish and chicken malai tikkas were super delicious - tender, aromatic and tasty. Tried Delirium beer ~8% alcohol - crisp and smooth. Lamb vindaloo and chicken biryani was a 7/10 for me.nTheir sizzlers seemed really nice but we had already ordered too much food. Coming back for sizzlers for sure.
Absolutely loving the vibe and delicious food at this spot! The service here is top-notch and the way they present the dishes is simply amazing. It's such a relief to know that this gem is open till late at night, making it our favorite go-to place whenever we find ourselves crossing the border a bit later than usual. The food quality never disappoints; especially the paneer fingers, they're a must-try. Even a simple dish like egg masala has its own unique twist here. Overall, the cozy ambiance just adds to the wonderful experience. A place that's truly worth visiting again and again!
