We are visiting Vancouver and are staying in white rock rock for a wedding. Me and my parents were craving for a good south Indian and while driving back from Victoria, I actually called the house of dosas as I knew already this is a well reviewed spot in the area but we were tight on time and wasn't sure about the last order time. They picked up the call and notified us that the last order time is 9:30pm. We knew we would reach close to that time and would reach. To my pleasant surprise, they not once denied us or told us that it would be a last call. We placed our order, got it in time and the girl serving us went beyond to make sure to get us what we needed despite it was close to closing time. The food was super yum! I loved the dosa and uttapam. I definitely recommend this place for some yum south Indian! Such amazing service! She deserves a raise, Kudos! We will definitely be coming back :
I am usual at the house of Dosa at Vancouver. And since they opened at White location. It's had been out weekly routine to eat at this location. Almost always we have been served by Srishti. She is awesome always happy and ready to serve us. She makes our every visit a pleasant one. Thanks for being awesome!!!!nnPS:nTheir eggplant curry is fantastic ask them to make it traditional style where garlic and curry leaves are added right before serving. It brings new a touch flavor and aroma that hard to explain in text!!!nThanks Uma for your recommendation and giving us a piece of traditional experience.
Good food, lovely staff, variety of options. Kids friendly place. They have Monday dosa deal, and we love going here.
If you are looking for authentic variety of dosas, your search ends here! House of dosas lives up to its name in a true sense that it offers all types of dosas one can think of! Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are available and in plenty! Taste is very authentic with sides tasting amazing! They do have other regular items too and all items are reasonably priced and the sizes and portions of all items are mighty generous! Service is very strikingly super fast! You finish ordering this side and the items hit your table the other side so fast! I am not sure how they do it even with lots of crowd!nnThey have their original outlet started longtime back in Vancouver at Kingsway and the one we visited was the one recently opened at White Rock!nnThe best part is White Rock has unique offers on weekdays barring Friday, Saturday and Sunday Mondays are a must visit as any dosa going for a flat $5.99 only including their most expensive one priced at $15.99. Checkout on their website for the offers on the other 3 days of the week!nnIf you go once, you will go many times! I will visit them every week though I live in North Surrey some 34 kms away. I highly recommend this place! All 5 stars!
I just in love with the food. The food is really really great and everything is fresh. I will definitely visit again for such a dosa. The staff is so friendly. Love their service.
