Disappointing Samosa Experience at Golden SamosannI recently visited Golden Samosa Bakery for a takeaway order of samosas, hoping to enjoy a taste of authentic Indian cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.nnWhile the timing of my order was satisfactory, the quality of the samosas was deeply disappointing. Upon biting into the samosa, I was shocked to find that the filling consisted solely of boiled white potatoes, a few pieces of green peas, and minimal seasoning. This lackluster filling was far from the flavorful and aromatic samosas I am accustomed to enjoying.nnAs an Indian individual, samosas hold a special place in my heart, and I was truly disheartened by the subpar quality of the samosas at Golden Samosa Bakery. It is crucial for restaurants to accurately represent their dishes, and I believe that customers should be informed if the samosas offered do not adhere to traditional Indian standards.nnOverall, while the timing of the order was acceptable, the disappointing quality of the samosas overshadowed any positive aspects of the experience. I hope that Golden Samosa Bakery takes customer feedback into consideration and strives to improve the authenticity and flavor of their offerings in the future.
I saw some recommendations for this place as I have been searching for good samosas for a while. This place is super good. The pastry was crispy and delicious and the filling was super flavourful. I got a variety of flavours but so far the original potato veggie is my favourite. I highly recommend the spring rolls as well. They were so good. I'll be thinking about them for a while until I can visit again. Everything came out fresh and hot. Honestly highly recommend!!!
Samosas are consistent and always good. Can choose half cook if you decide to cook it later. Beware of leaving them on your front seat as you will probably eat them on the drive home! They are so good when it’s freshly cooked.
Any day expect a line and small wait. Why? The quality and value. $1-$1.30 per samosa depending on type, $.50 for an amazing spring roll. Pre order is the best option in my opinion. Bulk order 50+ of the mini samosas, half cooked so that they can be taken home and frozen, ready to go when you need.
One stop shop for practically anything samosa!nnPretty much a bakery specifically for samosas and other snacks. Not a dine in establishment, you go in, as seen in the photo, and order the food you'd want to take out. There are some chairs to wait while your order is prepared.nnMy order photo is 30x samosas and 2 lbs of pakora with dipping for around $40; comes in a box each as shown to keep that fresh made goods safe for transit - there's a few bus stops nearby as well as plenty of parking within the industrial complex.nnDefinitely worth the trip to grab a ton of food for the night and following days
