I tried the Gol Gappa today and unfortunately, it was a disappointment — definitely not worth the money. However, I want to highlight that the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was quite nice, and there’s plenty of parking available. While the food I ordered didn’t meet expectations, the overall service and environment were positive.
UPDATE: a year has passed and their quality has gone way down hill. they changed the recipes for most of the stuff, and the things i order are now either not fully cooked, taste bad, or have weird pieces of something inside. gross and disappointing as this was my go to restaurant. there way better options in the area.nndon’t go in to order from this restaurant. service is way too slow, and i’ve been here about 4 times already. takes about 30-45 minutes for anything to come out, almost ended up walking out without our food twice. ordered ice cream and it took us walking out the door for them to tell us that its ready to go and that we can have it. service is rude and ignorant. portions way too small. dishware is a hit or miss on cleanliness. food is great though, so i do recommend ordering through delivery- you also get a bigger portion that way, worth your money.
I visited in payal chat house with my friends i am from edmonton i had a fantastic experience…we ordered chole bhature taste was realy good .. the service was equally impressive. Isha the staff member who served us ,was attentive , polite and professional we had a great dining experience… she doing great job highly recommended this place for indian food . We will definitely be coming back
BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER!!! so authentic, kind workers, and amazing service! definitely coming back again! I especially recommend the prawn!
I'm pretty sure I reviewed this place before because it was always my favorite chat place and now it's still so awesome with all the promos it has for online delivery app orders so we still order from here all the time and wonder how they handle all of Surrey.. thank you for the perfect Christmas meal; chat, gol gappas and mango lassi
