Used to go here for every single birthday party as a child I feel like most airdronian kids did. Went here recently as an adult and it's just as good. Has such a strange smell but its very nostalgic. Went during 'glow bowling' for an extra $5 and it was alright.
Great place to go and bowl a few lanes. Food was quick and delicious, and drinks were reasonably priced. The only thing we found was there was always a line - only one register for paying for your lanes, food and drinks. Great atmosphere overall. We look forward to our next visit!
The five of us enjoyed the two games we bowled. Friendly staff, fair pricing... we will be back :
Bowling was fun!! The young staff needs to pull up their socks, be more on the ball, the pizzas were less then desirable, and a lil pricey, in my opinion, but all in all my granddaughter had fun!! We will go again, but not on a weekend lol
Making this review on behalf of my wife. She attended Shamrock lanes today Feb 2, 2023. She arrived at 10am and the doors were locked. She proceeded to browse in a neighbouring store with our son and came back 10 or so minutes later to find the doors now unlocked. No big deal she entered and went downstairs where a female staff member was unlocking the doors. She treated the staff member with a good morning. The staff member said nothing and just went inside. My wife and son then entered and began putting their boots and shoes away. The same female staff member then told them they did not open until 10am. Wife advised her it was 1014. She then asked my wife if she had a booking/reservation. Wife advised her that she did not. Staff member then told her this is normally required to bowl. Facility was completely empty. My wife then said the sign on the door says public bowling and asked if they were allowed to bowl. Eventually the wife’s friend had arrived and the staff member ultimately let them bowl. This is a fairly terrible first and last experience. Truly unfortunate as we heard great things.
We had our kiddos bday here and it was awesome . Staff are wonderful and do a wonderful job! We all had a blast and really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend to others :
Always a family Fav in Airdrie. I've been going since 1987! The GLO Bowl is fun!!
Had a good time with my 8yr old, despite their rules for not allowing the bumpers up if you’re over 6yrs old. It was his first time bowling and he was getting dejected with all the gutter balls. Having such a low age as the cut-off is a good way to detract interest from younger kids, and having some flexibility would be better for everyone in the long run.
Great place to enjoy an evening with friends and family. It has good hot snacks and drinks for kids and adults.
Went to play a few rounds of bowling with my fiancé tonight. Found out they also have billiards, for a very good price! Only intended to stay for an hour to bowl. But ended up staying for 3.5 hours and also got a pizza for dinner, which was surprisingly delicious for a bowling alley! Not many lanes. So recommend booking a reso if later on the evening. But definitely recommend :
