I recently visited Service Ontario to renew my health card after getting my bridge open work permit. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I'd like to give it a 4-star rating .nn The token system is efficient, but it took about an hour for my turn.nn The location is inside the Samples store, which is convenient and easy to find.nn They are open on Saturdays, which is great for those who can't visit during the week.nn The staff were very friendly and helpful. Michael assisted me, and he was polite and courteous throughout the process. He finish the documents verification in 5 minutes and renewed my healthcardnnOverall, despite the wait, the convenient location, friendly staff, and Saturday hours make this Service Ontario location a solid choice for working professional.
Excellent service. I pre booked my appointment, so they called my number exactly on time. There are few sitting arrangements. All types of forms, pens & boards are available there. The girl that help me was devanshi probably, i forgot name. She gave a excellent service to me. They also accept softcopy of documents. The service centre is inside the staples with around 5/6 cubes for service. There's a kiosk machine, where you need to up DOB.
Next available appointment online was too far and I needed to resolve an urgent issue. I was willing to wait so I walked in at 3:30PM. The lineup was expected and I got called past 6PM. Patricia assisted me and she’s provided great customer service - patiently resolving my concerns. The employees were well behaved and organized in this location during my visit.
On the good side, Jason was very helpful and guided me through the whole process. I had lots of papers and he help me sort them out to have just the right ones. Then, Patricia gave my health card very quickly. She was also very detailed when informing me about my new health card. nOn the bad side, I was a walk in and I waited for two and a half hours.
Only good thing is it’s open Saturday. Everything else is ridiculously slow. Waited 4 hours for a 15 minute service. Definitely recommend going to a different location or hopefully they can make this type of Service Ontario more reliable.
