Serious Coffee Esquimalt

We visited this place twice while visiting Victoria. The quality is exceptional and the tea lattes are some of the best we’ve had. I came here thinking it was a one-location type place but I see why it’s so popular with multiple locations. Can’t wait to come back when in town!

My experience at serious coffee was excellent. I walked in and was instantly greeted, I got the matcha latte, which was super creamy and sweet, my barista was connie who even brought the drinks right to my table. Perfect start to my day!

This is my new favourite coffee spot! Hidden gem. Great for studying. Quiet, free wi-fi, some plug-ins, and a great selection of coffee & syrups! Really lovely staff, parking available, and super cute, vibey environment! I'll definitely be coming again. : Kid-friendliness: The staff were awesome with the kids I saw that came in! Parking: Lots of spots, located in a common parking lot with other businesses. Very convenient!

I try not to come here unless I really need coffee. The new owners never have enough people working in the morning. The poor girl was by herself serving the long line of customers making each individual drink before helping the next customer. I think they should bring back the mixing station.Food: 4/5

Always a friendly experience with drinks that beat out any of the larger chains. Large selection of syrups to suit any taste. Plenty of in-store seating.

Would you please please please send your staff to barista training. It's seriously frustrating to ask for a non-dairy cappuccino and get bubble-bath foam big frothy airy bubbles, or no foam less than a millimeter of white. It's not hard to foam non-dairy milk, many, many people can foam sorts of non-dairy milk just as well as dairy milk--but you have to have training. You can't just wing it. I'm giving two stars, because the women were very nice, and did try to make proper foam. But this is my third attempt at a decent coffee in your store, and it's just too expensive for a cup of disappointment.

Staff was friendly, service was good and the coffee and food was good. All you could ask for.

Barista didn’t know what a latte frappe was, even though it was on the menu. After several minutes of explaining, got served a cup of bitter sludge full of coffee grounds. When I asked for it to be sweetened, I got told “syrup costs extra”. Please train your baristas…
