Second Cup

The older lady that works at this location is very rude. I used to work nearby and frequented this location and she is always snippy. I don’t work in the area anymore and just happened to pop in...still very rude. Didn’t have enough money on my gift card and wanted to pay the rest on debit ($0.80), didn’t have enough cash and she said oh we don’t do that, and starred at me like I was crazy. Other than that, nice location :)

On Friday, March 29th, I was meeting friends at this shop and we were gonna drive to our destination together. One of my friends reached before me, and like any good customer got a drink and sat down. I went in to meet her. We were going to leave immediately but our other friend was running late so we sat down, within 2 minutes the barista came over and asked if I wanted a drink. I said I’m good and she said if I’m not getting anything I need to leave. While my friend still had her coffee in her hand and I was clearly with a paying customer. So we left. Half the tables were unoccupied and there was no rush of customers that may require seating. But this is the last time I go to a second cup if they don’t have the decency that even the smallest business shows to its customers.

Terrific cafe and our usual weekend go-to spot for coffee. Friendly staff and always service with a smile.

I’m extremely disappointed in the service. At About 10:40pm I went in to purchase a coffee and wanted a Frappuccino, only to be told that they weren’t serving Frappes at this time anymore. They had cleaned the blenders and didn’t want to serve me the drink I wanted so they wouldn’t have to stay past 11pm and clean. Not good service at all. Being in the retail business you know that customers are always first regardless of the time. Won’t be back here again.

Free wifi, Parking on the road with 15 minutes limit, good place for get together with friends. Fresh coffee with reasonable price. Clean washrooms for only customers only. Open early in the morning.
