I went to pick up a quick dessert based on the good reviews here. I bought two eclairs, nothing fancy, but expected at least average quality. They were terrible. Old, stale and dried out. I'm sure even Metro or Superstore would've been a better choice. I would've also picked up some bread but I didn't like how they were laid out uncovered and so close to the aisles, with people rubbing them as they walk through the narrow aisles in full winter gear. I'm not sure I would return to give them a second chance. There is also something fishy about all these reviews - there are way too many reviews compared to nearby businesses, and some of them are identical!

Nice selection of cold meats, home made breads and desserts. Specially interesting stuff if you are looking for european products. Staff is really nice and attentive. Definitively I'm going to make it one of my usual places for selected groceries. ex worker 2013

Amazing pastries, cakes and great food. Relaxing and clean environment. The staff is very professional and nice to deal with. Totally recommend this place

I usually go to Lazar for the pastries and desserts. Even though the selection changes each day, whatever I end up getting is always very tasty and satisfying! They sell fresh coffee so it's also great going with a friend for a coffee and treat! Yum!
