Nestled in a residential neighborhood just a few blocks from downtown Bayfield, Wisconsin, and being on the shore of Lake Superior, SEAGULL BAY MOTEL offers clean, quiet, comfortable lodging accommodations with a spectacular view of Madeline and Long Islands. Bayfield has become one of the most popular freshwater sailing ports in the country with many marinas in the area, thus providing beautiful views of the lake dotted with sailboats. There are fine restaurants and specialty shops within walking distance of the SEAGULL BAY MOTEL. We have a walking/running/skiing trail just in front of the motel along the abandoned railroad grade next to the shoreline.

We loved this place. We came here after kayaking Lake Superior to relax. And we did! Great balconies, each room with its own outdoor access, great walking trails. I can still smell the milkweed! Very nice people.

My mom and I stayed at Sea Gull Motel for our 'Girls Trip.' We stayed in room #8 - it was perfect. There is a small kitchenette so we were able to bring food and cook at the motel and we enjoyed eating outside our room at the picnic table. Also, right outside our room is chair... we sat out here for hours and read and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We also enjoyed the walking trail that runs in front of the motel. The trails is along the waterfront and goes into town. The front desk staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful! I look forward to returning again soon.

I've been visiting Bayfield for 25+ years and this is by far the best place to stay. The rooms are basic but you can't beat the location nor the price.

This motel is amazing! The motel has a beautiful lawn, decorated with falling leaves and adirondack chairs, overlooking Lake Superior. There is a trail going straight from the motel to downtown Bayfield (5-10 minute walk). This is such a peaceful place. It is one of my favorite places to go and the owners are great!

A great little motel that feels like ag hole away from home. It's in a great location and the owners are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
