The hotel has a great location! Located right by the water, next to fairy tours, and walking distance from a number of restaurants and shops. The room was a bit small and dated, but clean and adequate. Their standard provision of two large towels for two adults and a toddler was a bit of a joke of you ask me. You can always get more from the front desk, but seemed strange to me. Most adults I know use two large towels. Also, we were told the bed was a queen size, but seemed more like a full. They did have nice flat screen tv's and cable. Overall, it wasn't bad. I'd stay there again for the price. Most places in the area were much higher.

We stayed herefor a single night. It wasn't bad, but the cost was good for being right by the boat docks and having a good view of the lakes. As for amenities the bathrooms are small are was split in half, the toilet, and shower in a close off room and the sink on the otherside for easy access in the rest of the room. Our room had an ac unit, which was great considering it was a warm couple of days, however not all rooms have it. They have Dish TV as well. No breakfast, but most places are just a few blocks away, so you can just walk to them.

We love this charming motel and stay here every summer! The rooms are well-kept and the proximity to Lake Superior and the ferry to Madeline Island is super convenient! The staff is very friendly and accomodating! I can't say enough good things about this motel, we've absolutely loved it the past 4 times we've stayed here and I'm sure we will continue to enjoy it for years to come!

Nice quaint motel room. Great view, and right next to ferry. Air conditioning unit available.
