Great local BBQ. Skip the chain down the road and head here. Purchase your food by the pound or get one of their "Satchels of Satchel's". They don't do plates of food but rather an amount of meat and a number of sides. The brisket is the best, and their macaroni and cheese is unbelievable. If you're looking for a quick dine-in or take-out in Ann Arbor, you won't go wrong with a stop here.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Disappointing meal. Five of us ordered plate dinners. Food was barely warm. Brisket was mostly fat. Sauces were very watery. Service was quick. Dining room was very cold and colluded have been cleaner. Overpriced for the quality of food.

OVERPRICED! The food is good, but not exceptional by any standard. I ordered the chicken & kielbasa combo plate to go. I was "shocked" to see what I got for $13 dollars. They gave me more beans than meat. (see photo) Save your money! A BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Great BBQ.... sides keep changing. Potato salad seemed very dry last time. Hope they will find their standards.

Food is so good. It isn't always super hot but it is always very flavorful. Staff is wonderful.
