A little over 2 weeks ago my father was taken there by ambulance; his wife was with him. I received a call and the doctor asked me to reunite my siblings because he was going to die in a few hours. They said all they could do is start comfort care.nnGot there within 15 minutes as I work close by. My father was still conscious so I found it weird that they were already pressed to inject morphine. His wife didn’t allow it thank GodnnI asked him what he wanted; he said he wanted to get what would now be life-saving surgery which he had refused in the past when it was preventive. His wife had been completely ignored when she said he wanted it, so she was the one who had them call me again, thank GodnnI had to insist and said he had the right to change his mind. I said I’ll be damned if they don’t respect what could be his final wishes. And precious minutes were being wasted in arguing. They said he’d probably die on his way there in the ambulance and that anyway his chances to survive surgery was 5% as opposed to 0% chance of survival if he accepted comfort care - yeah okay we’ll take the 5%, thank you very muchnnSo they finally organized transfer to this other hospital and he got there still conscious.nI can gladly say he survived surgery and he’s still alive today. I’m yes it’s going to be a long road to recovery but I’m glad I was there to advocate for him or else they would’ve let him die.
I waited just 2 hours at the emergency room today, likely due to it being a quieter season. I had an ultrasound and got the results immediately. The staff were kind and compassionate. I know many criticize the system for long waits, but that wasn’t my experience. Grateful for the care I received today.
I went here on June 9th, 2025 after sustaining some injuries in a cycling accident on Gouin boul Est. They took really good care of me in the trauma center, quickly got my CT scan and x rays done and gave me a cast. I was out of there within a few hours. A few days later they called me to schedule follow up appointment. I went back, same efficient service, within 5 minutes I was getting my new x rays done. Then I did have to wait 2 hours to see the doctor but I was satisfied with the updated status information about my fracture and booked another follow up appointment. It's not perfect but they did their job. No complaints, glad that they provided this service. This is not a fake review.
Very nice people and good young doctors but be careful most of the nurses don’t understand English.
I will give them 0 star My friend got hit by a car and they put him in the waiting room like someone is not important i was dezy his chin was open his wrsit was twist and they do nothing then make him wait no service
